Disclaimer- I do not own Naruto or the song 'Blue'.

Blue, oh, so lonesome for you, why can't you be blue over me?

Sakura walked quickly behind Sasuke and Naruto. Team 7 was on a D rank mission, nothing special. They were headed to an inn; where they would stay the night. Sakura kept quiet today, she decided there was going to be no whining, crying, being weak or fawning over Sasuke. This was a mission, she was a ninja, and she needed to act like one for once.

Over the years of being on team 7, Sakura realized that her crush on Sasuke was stupid. She was stupid for having it. Of course He'll never lover her back; at least the way she loves him. She lifted her head out of her thoughts when she heard Kakashi Sensei speak.

"We're stopping here at this inn for the night. We'll begin again in the morning." He spoke tiredly.

Blue, oh, so lonesome for you, tears fill my eyes till I can't see.

She laid down on her bed, tears spilling out of her eyes. Well, there goes one ambition for this mission. As she lay in bed trying to fall asleep, her mind had begun to wander far from the subject of sleeping. She thought about Ino, and her parents, but the subject that seemed to come up the most was Sasuke.

3 o' clock in the morning, here am I. Sitting here so lonely, so lonesome, I could cry.

He was hell-bent on killing Itachi, restoring his clan, being an avenger. His cold stoic stare and communication skills pushed everyone away. She loved him though. She fell in love with the human ice-cube.

He would never love her back, and that was hard to accept. This was what kept her up at night. Foolish? Yes. But it meant something to her, she was love-sick with the one who couldn't love.

Blue, oh, so lonesome for you, why can't you be blue over me?

Sakura sat up in the bed. She sniffed and wiped away her tears, cursing herself for letting this happen again. Finally, she lay down again, feeling her eyes heavy with exhaust. It had been a long day. This happened almost every night and she was growing sick with herself from it.

She'll never stop loving him; but simply learn how to deal with being blue.

Blue, oh, so lonesome for you.

Why can't you be blue over me?
