Jade slammed the door to her bedroom. Sobbing, she grabbed one of her many pairs of scissors and sat on her bed. She pushed up her sweater sleeves and put the scissors to her wrist. She promised beck she wouldn't do this anymore, she promised herself, but she couldn't take it any longer. The only time her dad ever took interest in her was when he had something to yell about. It was only getting worse. Her mom was tired of putting up with her, but couldn't she see the only reason Jade only lashed out because it felt like her life was falling apart.

*Jade's POV*

I sat in the janitors closet, taking my anger out on one of the trash cans. I glanced at the time, Beck would be arriving soon and considering I ignored all of his calls last night he should be looking for me. Luckily, I'd found a way to lock the janitor's closet a few weeks ago. I wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone, not even him.

*Beck's POV*

"Hey, have you guys seen Jade?" I asked Robbie and Cat. I saw Cat nod shyly and point the janitor's closet. I should have known; Jade's favorites hiding spot was that closet. It was where we shared our second, it's where she hid when she wanted to skip class, and it's where I found out about her cutting.

*JPOV*

I heard a knock on the door followed by Beck's voice. "Jade?" I kept quite, wishing he'd just go away. "Bade, I know you're in there."

I sighed, he always got to me. I reached up, unlocked the door, and opened it slightly. "What?" I finally answered.

Beck shut the door behind him as he sat on the floor next to me. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I said confidently.

I watched Beck's eyes as he looked around at the cut up cans. "I know you better than that. I know everything about you."

"No you don't!" anger in my voice. I stood up and stormed out of the small room. "Don't follow me!" I called back.
