Today, I felt like doing something humorous. It's part of the reason I wrote "Robot Meister Prometheus" and chapter 2 of "Dark Family"-while I originally wrote darker stories, I wanted to lighten up, especially since the senior year is living hell. Sigh...Do I really need to say I don't own these guys?

Spike was completely bored. There was hardly anything to do around the base except heavy lifting, which he really couldn't do in any case—what the Autobots were lifting around could easily crush him if it dropped on him.

Frustrated, he tried to make small talk with Bumblebee. "Hey Bee, I've been meaning to ask you…." he paused. "Hmm? What is it, Spike?" the yellow bot replied. "C'mon, don't leave me hanging here!" Spike was quite embarrassed by this question, so he blurted it out, "Why the hell does Optimus wear that mask anyway?" Bumblebee was surprised. "Y'know, he's never told anyone about that, even Ironhide," he replied, "It just seemed normal to me. But, tell you what, you've got me interested." He leaned towards Spike. "What say you and me find out?" he said, with a distinctive gleam in his optics. Spike smiled. No matter what it took, he and Bumblebee would find out the secret behind Optimus's mask!

Their plan was simple. All they had to do was wait until Optimus was temporarily shut-down for repairs, and then they could take off his mask and see what he really looked like. Bumblebee leaned forward, and started reaching for Prime's face. Suddenly, Prime woke up! He looked at the, erm….awkward position Bumblebee was in. "Nonononono! Th-this isn't what it looks like!" Optimus sighed.

To put a long story short, Spike and Bumblebee had to clean up the Dinobots' latest mess all by themselves. Optimus popped through the door. "Are you done yet?" he asked. The two sighed. After they had finished the first time, the Dinobots came through again, so they were back to square one just before Prime arrived. "Oh, and I have one thing to say to you."

Bumblebee groaned. Oh, here he was going to get the wrong idea….

"Was the purpose of finding out what was under my mask so important that you had to wait until I was asleep to look?"
