(Adventures of) Sonic (the Hedgehog) Bible
I. Who is Sonic?
Sonic Maurice Hedgehog was born on Planet Mobius on June 23, 1976, In the town of Detroit, Michigan, population: about 700,000. He and his mom, and five sisters, lived in a big, scraggly hedge.
He is called Sonic not only because of his blistering fast speeds, but also after the drive in they lived next to, which is also called Sonic. His family subsided on burgers, fries, Coca-Colas, milkshakes, chili dogs (his favorite), and the occasional Domino's Pizza or two. They were were a low-middle class, yet happy, family. The only problem with Detroit is that it has so much pollution, which is how his dad died. His mom does her best to keep his dad's memory alive, including stories about his great agility. She hopes her children take after him, most notably Sonic. He is the only male in the family after all.
There was something special about Sonic. something his mom couldn't put her finger on, not that it really matters. Sonic usually enjoyed localling the bowling alley and puling tricks on the unsuspecting bowlers. His favorite trick is curling up in the ball return, and waiting for someone to grab him by mistake.
Sometimes he'd change his tactic. He'd curl up ever so tightly and stay perfectly still as the bowler tossed him down the alley. Once he got pretty close to the head pin, he uncurled and walked away, ruining the poor guy's score. Although he loved pulling pranks on the neighbors, Sonic still cared about people. Sometimes he'd drop by the local quilting circle to lend an ear for juicy tidbits and gossip (and the occasional pin or two).
