Massie Block: Over the last ten years, Massie has finally reached her MAP (maximum alpha potential) and couldn't be more successful in the world of fashion. She graduated from KISS at the top of her class, double-majored in Fashion Merchandising and Journalism with a Master's Degree under her belt, and just finished her internship with StylingLife Inc. in Los Angeles. Now she is on her way back to New York City to begin her career as a stylist for Vogue, where she has an unexpected run-in with several bridges she thought to have burned. Can Massie make nice or will World War 3 be declared on the Upper East Side?
Dylan Marvil: After the raging success of The Marvilous Marvils, Dylan had landed her own spin-off show and decided to embrace being the Kylie Jenner of the family. But instead of becoming a makeup mogul, she turned to fashion design at FIT. Now, she is a designer on the rise, as well as the new host of The Daily Grind. Following an interview at Vogue, Dylan has the opportunity of a lifetime to have her clothes featured in the magazine - which brings her face to face with her former alpha. Dylan is all for putting the past behind them and rekindling their friendship, but neither of them are prepared for the whirlwind that is yet to come.
Kristen Gregory: She has dedicated her entire life to education and playing soccer, and now she has finally landed an opportunity for both - an elite private school in New York City has recruited her to be a coach for their women's team and during the day she will work as a history teacher, which happened to be her favorite subject in school. While it's not as glamorous as the rest of her friends, Kristen is perfectly content with where she stands, and since she didn't have a fiery fall-out like the rest of the Clique she is ready to welcome back Massie with open arms after she receives word that the reigning queen is final returning to the Big Apple.
Claire Lyons: The Florida-born blonde has the least surprising life out of the Clique; she is married to Cam Fisher and works from home as a photographer-blogger to take care of her one year old daughter, Shay. After graduating high school Claire began distancing herself from the girls but still keeps in touch with them enough to get invited out places and be apart of Group Chats. Everything for Claire is absolutely perfect, until Massie Block returns to New York and threatens to turn it all upside down because of a little secret she has been holding over her head. Can Claire get back into Massie's good graces before it's too late?
Alicia Rivera: Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen, future Mrs. Josh Hotz (hopefully) and one of the most sought after dancers in the entire tri-state area. After executing a flawless performance at one of the most prestigious Dance Academy's in Manhattan, Alicia has finally entered her prime and is absolutely loving the fact that she's come this far without being Massie Block's shadow. But once she learns that her very former friend is making a comeback, Alicia needs to think quick before it has the chance to unravel and turn things back to the way it used to be before Massie left for London. But is that even really the case, or is Alicia just being paranoid?
Derrick Harrington: Soccer used to be the love of his life, and then he decided one day during his senior year that he didn't want to do it anymore. Instead he took up getting into the family business, working part-time at the restaurant his father owns, and even getting a bartending license. After graduation he attended the International Culinary Center to be licensed as a Professional Chef, and took a 600 hour business course for the fun of it in case he ever wanted to start his own franchise. At the age of twenty three, Derrick Harrington is not ready to be tied down to any lady and is in the process of helping his father open a second restaurant location. But when a certain blast from his past comes in for a drink one night, Derrick finds himself in for a rude awakening.
Kemp Hurley: He has come a long way since his pervy middle school days, but not much has changed in the last ten years. His dark hair has been tamed from that crazy afro, he stopped wearing the T-shirts with corny messages, and is groomed to take over Hurley Enterprises - but that definitely doesn't mean he has given up on being a man slut.
Cam Fisher: Dedicated husband and father, perpetual business partner to Derrick Harrington, and visual/audio editor for The Daily Grind - it's not his ideal job but after his starter company fell through the cracks, Dylan kindly swooped in to get him back on his feet so the Fisher's didn't lose their house. Things were going perfectly fine for Cam and Claire until Massie Block comes back, and for the life of him he doesn't understand why his wife is trying so hard to win her friendship or why she's suddenly become so secretive when they always used to tell each other everything.
Josh Hotz: It comes to no surprise that this hot-blooded Latino is the new face of Ralph Lauren's ad campaign, nor is anyone shocked to see that him and Alicia have been going strong for the last ten years. Question is: what is taking so long for Josh to tie the knot with his long-term girlfriend? Better yet, why hasn't he even asked her to marry him? His friends are constantly badgering him and he knows that Alicia is not so casually dropping hints about wanting to make things official. But for some reason Josh just can't bring himself to tell the truth about what is holding them back from taking this step in their relationship, but with a little help from the most unexpected he might finally get that push.
author's note: I'm giving it another shot at writing for the Clique, I originally had an idea for Hannah Montana but then I started doubting myself so I turned it into something else. I've been in a funk and really want to get back into writing. Hopefully this becomes something, I hope you guys like it. Also, I would like for you guys to keep an eye out for Chris Plovert, Olivia Ryan, Skye Hamilton and her DSL Daters, Dempsey Solomon, and Harris Fisher - while they are not the main characters, they do play an important role in this particular storyline.
