Some days were good. Some were bad. The first day at a new school was a bad day for anybody, in this case – Blaine Anderson. He made his way down the corridor, ignoring the strange looks he was getting; for a moment he didn't understand why they were all gawping at him, but then he remembered that he was a mid-year transfer... From Dalton Academy Reform School. Of course everyone knew! Blaine thought to himself when he stopped at what he assumed was his locker.
He began to retrieve his books from his bag when he noticed that he couldn't actually get the locker open. He re read the combination on the paper and tried again: still nothing. How hard could it be to get the combination 0-0-0-0 wrong? Blaine let out a frustrated sigh and rattled the locker in a feeble attempt to open it.
"Not here for five minutes and you're already trying to break into my locker," Blaine heard from behind him. He looked around, startled, and saw a boy looking at him with a rather condescending look. Blaine felt a blush rise in his cheeks as the boy stared at him with narrow eyes...
"Oh no, I wasn't—Is this your—No." Blaine stuttered, managing to drop his entire bag in the process. He wasn't usually this uncoordinated, in fact he was never like this. Blaine shook his head and tried to retrieve his bag from the floor.
"I thought you Dalton Boys were all mysterious and... Badass." The boy smirked, cocking his head slightly – Blaine thought he resembled a kitten.
"You don't know anything about Dalton, so don't pretend you do." Blaine snapped, balling his fists in anger.
"There's the mystery I was looking for." The boy whispered bending down and Blaine could have sworn he saw him wink at him from the corner of his eye. "Hello... Blaine Anderson." The boy added picking up one of Blaine's books.
"Would you mind – not." Blaine asked with a smile that looked more like a wince.
"Never mind then. I'm Kurt, I'm probably the only decent person who will try and interact with you today. Good luck." Kurt said, dropping the book on the floor, and standing up again. Blaine stood up too. He gave Kurt a look that he hoped said I don't care.
"I'm pretty sure I'm used to people being mean to me." Blaine said with mock sympathy.
"I came over to give you a little heads up, but you know what, I don't actually care anymore" Kurt spat, turning on his heel to leave. Blaine closed his eyes and gripped the strap of his bag tightly, this is going to be a long day. He thought to himself as he tried another locker.
A/N: I don't know if I want to continue with this, but please review? Ta –Lily xoxo
