Disclaimer: I do not own the Inuyasha characters in any way. Even if I did, I would only own Sesshoumaru and he would be tied up and under my bed so no one but me could have him.

Prologue:

For all the years Sesshoumaru had been alive, he had never loved anyone. Not even his family. He traveled all alone in the dark of night. He had gotten rid of Jaken and Rin, and was a lone demon that killed non-stop just for the fun of it. He often sulked and wished he had someone to have for himself. He always dreamed of finding his true love.

THE ACTUAL THING!

Sesshoumaru walked in a rythmn through the dark forest. Dead brown leaves cracked and popped under his feet. The breeze made his hair flutter in the wind. He couldn't see a thing, but somehow he knew where he was going. He came to a light in the middle of the forest shining down on blossoming tulips. He glanced down for a second, but then stepped on them thinking to himself, "Those plants seem to remind me of something, but i'm not sure what. Something that happened when me and that half breed were pups." He winced at the sound of his brothers name. Inuyasha. He still seeked for the death of his half breed brother, Inuyasha.

Sesshoumaru reached the end of the forest, and stepped out into the open space flooded with light. He stopped right in the middle of his tracks and jumped high in the air. A woman thrusted all of her might into the ground where Sesshoumaru was standing. She stood up and growled, "What are you doing here trespasser? You better leave before I kill you." As soon as Sesshoumaru landed back on the ground, the strange woman dove for him again striking her claws to the ground this time. When she stood up her face was then capable of being seen. She had bright scarlet eyes and blue hair waving in the wind. Her pointy ears and stripes on her face and arms showed she was a demon.

"I am the demon Fuyuko and you have trespassed on this land. You don't belong here. Either you leave now unharmed or I shall have to slice your head right off." Fuyuko screeched. She flexed her claws and struck at Sesshoumaru again, missing. "I have no time for you," Sesshoumaru mumbled showing no emotion. She struck at him hard one last time, but missed once again. She had so much power she rammed into a tree. "That should keep you quiet for at least a minute or two," Sesshoumaru stated, heading towards the open plains in front of him.

AN: Well what do you think? It will get really interesting and let's just say a little romantic! I already have an idea of what to do next but I'm not going to continure on it until I get some reviews from people that like it. I don't care if you give me a bad comment I just want to know how you like it. :)S
