He could still remember every single detail of her. The way she smiled, the way she talked when they would play hooky and run off to the fields. She was everything to him, her every movement was engraved in his mind. But that was all they were, just memories and that was all they would ever be. Inuyasha picked up the red rose and brought it to his lips. He could hear the waves hitting the rocks below him as he stood on top of the cliff. It was a while before he pulled back the petals from his lips and closed his eyes. Every time he kissed the rose it reminded him of her lips. The lips that he owned and would forever own. They were her favorite, red roses. They had always been. Swallowing he opened the palm of his hand and watched as the breeze blew the flower away. For a second it froze above the horizon and then slowly it dropped to the waters below.
Inuyasha stared out for a long time before lowering his head. He smiled a sad smile and then looked up at the sun setting. God, he missed her.
"Happy anniversary," he whispered, and then turned around and walked away.

It was a fine day, really fine. Kagome Higurashi lifted her head and shielded her eyes from the sun's rays. The dark clouds were rolling in It was a fine day for everyone, but the most nerve wrecking day for Kagome. First days of schools were supposed to be nerve wrecking anyways. Pulling on the hem of her pajamas she yawned and turned around towards the bathroom. They had only been here for two days, but still hadn't finished unpacking yet.
Waking up early in the morning had always been Kagome's thing. She was actually pretty upbeat for the fact that she had faced a life/ death situation before. Clapping her hands together she dug through her belongings in the pink bin inside her bathroom. She still had until seven before school started, so she had all the time that she needed.
Leaning back on the palms of her hands she blew her hair out of the way. Moving was supposed to be good for her and the family, but she really didn't enjoy it. Back in Kyoto she considered herself okay with the student body, but now she would be a total loner. Her grandpa was really getting old, so the move to the shrine would give peace for him. He had always said he wanted to live his last years somewhere peaceful. Kagome rolled her eyes, her grandpa was still jumpy as ever and he was not going to die any time soon. In fact he would probably live to see her children's children get married. And besides the fact that he was a tough old man, the thought of living somewhere peaceful didn't exactly fall under Tokyo. Kagome raised an eyebrow.
"Where do you find peace in Tokyo?" she shook her head and then stood up. Other than her grandpa's reason for moving her mother had finally gotten her promotion and that was the main reason why they moved out here. Souta and she didn't really say much since they also knew it would be good for the family. Grabbing her toothbrush, Kagome leaned onto the sink. The reflection in the mirror showed a tall Japanese girl with long black hair and blue eyes. Kagome brought a hand up to her face. Blue eyes.
It was odd, but she was the only one in her family that had blue eyes. They weren't contact lenses for sure. When she was first born some people thought she was switched at birth and others thought that she was just some demon child. Her parents both had brown eyes, but she had just happened to pop out into the Earth with blue eyes. After brushing her teeth, Kagome washed her face and then headed into her room.
She hated uniforms since she could remember. First of all, every school that she had attended, the skirts were awfully short and they were way uncomfortable. Putting on her plaid skirt and jacket she walked down the stairs to find her mom already placing paper plates on the old fold out table.
"Hi huny, ready for school?" Mrs. Higurashi said pulling out a carton of eggs from the refrigerator. Kagome nodded, taking a piece of toast and popping into her mouth.
"Is Souta awake yet?" Kagome asked, chomping on the bread and sitting on the folded chair. Mrs.Higurashi quickly turned the stove on and wiped her hands on her apron.
"SOUTA! You wake?" she shouted out, looking up the stairs. A few seconds passed and lazy footsteps were heard. Kagome eyed the stairs as an eight year old boy made his way down the stairs, wearing khaki shorts and a red t-shirt. Rubbing the back of his head Souta yawned. Mrs. Higurashi smiled and walked back into the kitchen. "Hey Sport, you hungry?" Souta dragged himself towards the chair next to Kagome and picked up the paper plate.
"I'm tired, that's what I am," he grumbled. Kagome turned away from him and then stood up to poor glasses of juice for them. Souta coughed and looked at his mother. "Mom is Grandpa awake yet?" he asked. Mrs. Higurashi walked over and set down a plate of scrambled eggs.
"Let him sleep. He's getting old now and he needs his rest...."
"Who says I'm old?" The three Higurashi's in the family turned their heads to see an old man at the front door. Souta giggled and raised a hand.
"Hey Gramps!" Kagome's Grandpa slid off his slippers, while Mrs. Higurashi put her hands on her hips.
"What are you doing up so early?" she asked. The old man shrugged and sat down next to Souta.
"I woke up early so I decided to take a walk around the shrine. Do you also have a problem with that?" Mrs. Higurashi eyed him dangerously and then finally changed her mind from what she had wanted to do.
"Now Souta, make sure you give the note that I wrote to your teacher, okay?" Souta nodded and reached for the marmalade. "....and please comb your hair? Did you even brush your teeth?" Souta nodded lazily again. "And..."
"Mom, I get it!" Souta stuffed the bread into his mouth and picked up the sports magazine on the table. Souta had been the one to take it the hardest. He was a pretty popular kid Kyoto, and leaving was pretty hard. Mrs. Higurashi shifted her attention back to Kagome.
"Kagome did you take your medicine?' she asked. It was Kagome's turn to nod her head lazily. "Don't forget to bring your note about gym, and do you have the schedule that I picked up the other day?"
"Yes mom."
"Good. Do you have your phone? Keep it on vibrate at all times..."
"Dear God Yuko! They're grown up; you don't have to worry about them!" Kagome's grandfather's voice broke in. He shook his head in distressed, while Kagome and Souta both turned to him and thanked him. Mrs. Higurashi threw her hands up in the air.
"I am afraid for my children! It is a mother's job to be nervous for them!"
"Mom, we'll be fine!" Kagome sat up and picked her back pack. She leaned in to kiss her grandpa and then her mom. Souta as well followed her lead.
"Bye Sport!" Mrs. Higurashi yelled after them while they slammed the door behind them. Letting out a sigh in relief Souta rubbed the side of his face.
"Is she crazy or what?" The two siblings made their way down the long steps of the shrine. "I can't believe we have to climb these every day of our lives?" Souta said, looking up the stairs. Kagome shrugged.
"You'll make friends, Souta. You always do." Souta sighed and pulled a cap out of his back pack.
"We were fine in Kyoto. I liked my friends there." Kagome laughed.
"You're only eight. You have a while before you have to worry about not having any real friends. High school is when you need to worry about that kind of stuff. You're not even in middle school yet." Souta glared up at her.
"Well how come you aren't freaking out on me like a normal teenage girl would? You're in high school? Mom and Gramps just pulled you right out of there." Kagome was silent for a few seconds and then looked down at her little brother.
"That's because I didn't have friends. One and a half years in rehab didn't really let me go shopping with my friends, did it?" Souta shrugged.
"What about those three annoying girls?"
"They forgot about me a long time ago." Kagome pulled on the strap of her backpack.
"So in a way, this whole moving thing is actually a second chance to make friends again," Souta said as the reached the bus stop. Kagome looked down at him and smiled.
"Yup."

The school was amazingly huge compared to Kagome's last school. Like a little girl, she leaned her head back and looked up at the long windows. So this would be the new school that she would attend. Swallowing, Kagome looked down and walked towards the large opened doors and into the wide halls of Kuriko Academy. Taking a deep breath she looked down at her schedule
"Here goes nothing!"
Opening the doors she peered in before taking a step in. She could feel all the eyes turn towards her and the teacher stop short on a sentence. She held a breath and managed a weak smile. The male teacher lowered his clipboard and looked at her with a raised eye brow. Kagome made a slight wave and walked over to his side.
"You must be Kagome Higurashi." he quietly said. Kagome nodded, pointing at her schedule. She could still feel all the twenty-five pairs of eyeballs staring at her, making her sweat. Her teacher quickly jotted down a feel notes onto his clipboard and then turn to the rest of the students. Kagome slowly turned and faced them all.
"Class! We have a new student from Kyoto. Kagome Higurashi. Please make her feel welcome. If she asks any questions please be a good friend and direct her to her classes and so forth...." Kagome chewed on the inside of her cheek. While her homeroom teacher went through the list of, 'helping the new girl,' Kagome took her time to scan the room. There had to be some friendly faces out there.
She caught a few winks from some fellow male classmates and some nods from a group of girls, but Kagome's eyes fell upon a certain figure sitting in the far right corner of the room, staring out the window. He wasn't paying attention, and he was slouched in his seat. From where Kagome stood, she felt her heart skip a beat.
"Does any one have any questions for Miss. Higurashi?' like on queue, twenty different hands shot up into the air. Kagome sweat dropped and shrunk back.
~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
It looked a bit windy outside, and the dark clouds were already getting ready pour their hearts out. Meaning fall was nearing, and the rain was coming. Inuyasha leaned back on his chair and began to fumble with the ring on his finger. He really didn't want to be here, and though he thought of this every day he still came. He came for her any ways, it was the only reason he was here. Looking back out the window he watched as the wind blew the leaves. She loved this weather; she had told them the first time they met. That was the first thing he remembered about her...
(Flashback)
Inuyasha grumbled a few curses as the rain began to poor. He sat up from the now damp grass and sighed. He watched as the student body all shouted and hurried into the large building covering themselves with their books and sprinting hard across the lawn. He was bored as hell already, and now the rain? Standing up he picked up his bag and looked around. Since no one was here to witness him, it was time to ditch.
He hurried of the opposite way everyone was heading and slipped off the school property through the trees. His uniform was drenched already and he cursed out loud. He hated being wet and he hated the rain. What would he do now? He couldn't go back to any of those under ground clubs since he was on probation, and he sure as hell wasn't going home. Inuyasha ducked under a low branch. If he got caught on the streets by the police, he would get into huge trouble again, so he was pretty much screwed.
Inuyasha slowed his pace and let out a growl. Why did life have to be so complicated? He just wanted to get away from everything that bothered him. He just wanted....some freedom. That's when he saw her.
She was standing ahead of him, her back towards him and her arms stretched open. She was looking up at the sky while the rain fell onto her face. Inuyasha stopped walking and stared at her. From where he stood, she looked like she was having a great time getting wet. Inuyasha looked up at the sky seeing the forest trees circling them, and then back at the strange girl. She had a red and white uniform on and her hair was long, but soaked.
Inuyasha squinted through the rain. Why was there a strange girl in the middle of the forest? Not many girls really came out here from his school. He froze and then took a step back. Was she....a ghost? He paled and tried to see if she was transparent in any sort of way. He heard how some girls were killed and raped around here. But she couldn't be a ghost, because she was pure solid and because she was wearing the recent school uniform.
Before he decided that he should just creep away from the girl and leave her alone, his big mouth open and did the talking.
"What are you doing?" Inuyasha mentally slapped himself in the face and cursed silently. Her arms dropped and she spun around fast, her hair whipping across her face, in surprise. Inuyasha's heart jumped as he saw her face clearly. She had beautiful eyes, and a petite face. A strand of wet, black hair was stuck to the side of her cheek and her lips were red. Other than that her skin looked a bit pale and she was surprised. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
He had dated and played many many girls before in his lifetime. Older and younger too. But none of those skanky, short skirted, size c-cup girls compared to her. Inuyasha stood in shock like he had never before done in front of a girl.
"What are you doing here?" she demanded. Even her voice was sweet. Inuyasha raised an eye brow.
"I asked you first..." She quickly took a step back. Her small mouth opened and then closed. Either she was shock to see such a good looking boy, or she was frightened that he would take advantage of her.
"A...a....are you a ghost?" she asked. Inuyasha's ego dropped right then and there and anger took over.
"What?!" Inuyasha raised a hand to his forehead. "Why would you think that?" She licked her lips as a rain drop fell on it.
"I dunno..." Inuyasha's hand dropped and he walked over to her. She hugged herself and glared daggers at her. "Stay away, I'll scream!" Inuyasha sighed.
"I'm not going to do anything to you, wench." He held up his arm to her face. "See! You can't see through me, so I'm not dead." She looked at his face and then back at his arm. She reached out and poked him on the arm just to make sure. "Believe me now?"
"How do I know if all ghosts are see-through? In some movies they're as real as anyone..." Inuyasha stared at her for about another two seconds and shook his head.
"Are you always this superstitious?" he asked. A small smile formed on her lips.
"You could say..." Inuyasha too couldn't help but break a grin. The girl had a sense of humor too, eh? Inuyasha rubbed the back on his neck, unsure of what to say next. If she went to his school, how come he had never seen her before? There was no way he would miss her. The again Inuyasha sighed, he was only at school 25% of the time. "What are you doing out here?" she suddenly asked, wiping the water off her face. Inuyasha leaned on his right foot and then back to his left.
"I'm ditching," he muttered.
"I see." I see? Her only response was that? She didn't even lecture him or tell him that ditching was bad. Inuyasha wanted to grab her and ask her why. Did she not care about what he did? Of course she didn't, they had just met.
"What are you doing here?" this time he was doing the asking, "shouldn't you be inside with everyone else?" she gave him a strange look and then smiled. Shaking her head she looked back at the grey sky.
"I love the rain. This is my favorite kind of weather." She opened her arms again and laughed. "When it rains, it washes away all of your worries or problems." She looked at him. "Every time the rain stops, it's like everything feels so new. Don't you think?" her question was pure innocent. But it felt like it just warmed a little part of his cold heart. He hated the rain and he hated being wet, so why in the world did this girl's love in this kind of weather affect him so? Inuyasha shrugged and looked up.
"I guess so...."
(End of flashback)
His thoughts were disrupted by a quick fumble of moving chairs and hands shooting in the air. He looked around the class room, wondering if he had just missed out on something big. Everyone was focused on the front of the classroom. He switched his attention at the two figures in the front and looked at them. That's when he saw her. That's when he felt the strange feeling in his gut that made his heart race.
"No...." he whispered.
@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
"Why'd you move here?"
"My mom got promoted."
"Are your eyes really blue?"
"Yeah..."
"What school did you come from?"
"Nishikado High; its north of Kyoto."
"Where do you live now?"
"A shrine."
"Do you have any siblings?"
"A brother."
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No?"
"Do you want to be my girl then?"
Kagome stared dumbstruck at the boy's question. He sat in the back of the room with a ponytail and headband. He had black hair and was grinning at her, showing what looked like a fang. The whole class turned to look at the boy.
"Kouga, no more jokes!" The teacher shouted. Kouga shrugged.
"I wasn't joking," she heard him call out. Kagome blushed and lowered her head. The teacher shook his head and smiled at Kagome.
"Well take this matter outside of class then. Kagome, you can take the seat in front of Inuyasha," he said. "Inuyasha raise your hand." Kagome looked around the classroom, but no hand rose. She felt like an idiot, while she searched everyone's eyes. The teacher shook his head again this time slower. He pointed to the empty desk next to the window. Kagome nodded and bowed before taking her seat.
She was still red from the comment made from the guy named Kouga, and her heart was beating uncontrollably. She brought a hand to her chest. She swallowed and then looked around. She had a feeling her heart was beating like crazy for a different reason though, not because she was nervous or because of Kouga, but for something different.
What was wrong with her right now? Slowly she froze and then turned around. Her eyes met two golden orbs and then her heart stopped for just that one second. This was the reason.
@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
It wasn't her, but she sure as hell looked a lot like her. Her eyes were different. They were blue instead of brown. It felt like his heart did a flip flop. For a second he thought that she had come back. The girl suddenly froze in her seat and then turned around slowly. She faced him and he felt his throat close up. They were identical except for the eyes. She was staring at him; just a foot away and he couldn't help but look back. It was like he was still looking at her, like she was still here. For a second he almost wanted to reach out and touch her soft skin. He felt his breathing stopped and he tore his eyes away from her.
Shit. His life just got harder.
@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
His eyes instantly looked back at the window as if she wasn't even there. Maybe Kagome was just imagining things. The irregular pulse had stopped and now she felt fine, just a bit freaked out. There was something about his eyes when he was looking at her. They were soft and almost sad but...loving in some sort away. Kagome bit her lip and began fumbling with the silver ring on her finger. Whatever it was, she still had a whole day to go and already she was beginning to dislike going to school. **
The day had been extremely long, going through the same routine of introducing herself to everyone. It was a pain in the ass. Gym was her next class, which meant she had to find the locker room, bye the gym uniform and so forth. She had secretly brought her gym shoes without her mom noticing. Walking down the hall she pulled the note that her mother had written for the P.E coach. She smiled and tossed it out at the nearby trash can. There was no way she was going to turn down gym. Her mom was just too damn worried about everything in her life. Now that Kagome could, she was going to do what she had always dreamed of doing.
**
She felt a bit uncomfortable in her uniform. In her last school they just wore regular shorts, and now she was wearing what looked like underwear. She tugged on her t-shirt and walked outside to join the rest of her classmates. They were all circled around the P.E teacher chatting away while she took attendance.
"Okay everyone!" The gym teacher blew his whistle almost blowing up everyone's eardrum. "Lucky for us, we start archery today." Half the class groaned and the other bounced up in excitement. Kagome raised her eyebrows. Archer, eh? She hadn't practiced for two years, but maybe she still had it in her. "Let's go over the rules and safety precautions!" This time the whole class groaned, hating to hear the lectures every time before they started a new unit.
"Ok, first and foremost, we want the safety of our fellow classmates." The teacher walked over and picked up an arrow.
"When you carry your bow and arrow, point it down at all times unless you are aiming at the target. THE TARGET! Not a target." The class snickered and Kagome couldn't help but smile. After about twenty minutes of hearing regulations, rules and safety precautions, everyone was to pair up with a partner. Kagome's smile turned to a frown and she looked around nervously. She was going to be the only one without a partner. She sat still as everyone stood up and ran directly to their partners.
"This sucks..." Kagome started; ready to become partners with the gym coach. It wasn't until she felt someone tap her shoulder. Kagome turned her face to see a boy her age. He looked like a real nice kind and he had his hair and a really small ponytail.
"Hiya!" he said, waving his hand. "The name's Miroku, do you have a partner?" Kagome felt a smile coming.
"No."
"Then how about it?" He nodded, looking at her. Kagome nodded, smiling uncontrollably.
"Sure!" The pair walked off to their platform, where their target was set about twenty feet away. Miroku stared at it with a raised eyebrow.
"They expect us to be pros and actually hit those targets?" he asked. Kagome shrugged and picked up her bow, making sure it was the perfect size and weight. "I mean, don't get me wrong but how are we supposed to hit it? I mean they could have at least brought it like ten feet closer..." Kagome laughed and picked up an arrow walking up to the platform. Miroku randomly picked a bow from the stack and followed her.
"We're going to look dumb if we don't even reach it? Do I hold it like this or this?" he asked looking at Kagome, who had pulled the arrow back. Miroku looked around at all the students whose arrow barely went a foot away from the platform.
"I wonder how we'll pass this unit..." Kagome let go of the arrow and watched as it sailed straight forward and hit the bulls eye Miroku's jaw dropped.
"How did you...? How can you...? When did you...?" The whole class turned to look at Kagome and then at the target. Kagome squinted and then swore.
"Damn." She turned around and picked up another arrow. "I'm rusty...." She looked up at Miroku, whose mouth was still hanging open. "Your turn."
"R..rusty? You hit the jackpot right there!" he pointed at the target. Kagome looked over her shoulder and then back at him with innocent eyes.
"I hit the bull's eye, but it isn't directly in the center. I use to be able to." She handed the arrow to Miroku, who stared at it in her hands. He took it and walked up to the platform. So now he was going to be humiliated when he couldn't even string the thing. Kagome watched as Miroku tried to pose but he looked ridiculous. She tried to stifle a laugh but Miroku noticed.
"I can't seem to find the right stance..." he said, switching his weight to his other leg. Kagome walked up to him and quickly took the bow out of his hands.
"You'll hurt someone doing that..." she said. She pointed at his leg. "Put that here, and put that here..." she said pointing at all his body parts. She then handed the arrow back to him. She took her bow and arrow and got into her position next to him and showed him the right way. "Keep your eyes on the target, and pull back like this..." Miroku followed her lead. "And then when you think its right....let go." She let go, watching it hit the center again. Miroku let go and watch it sail about ten feet before hitting the grass. He dropped his hand and rubbed the top of his head.
"At least I did better than the rest of the class." By now everyone was whispering to each other about Kagome's archery abilities. The gym teacher quickly walked over to her target and peered at it.
"Have you taken lessons before?" she yelled over to Kagome. Kagome shook her head.
"I taught myself when I was in junior high." Everyone leaned over to whisper again. Kagome didn't like being the center of attention at that moment. She averted her attention back to Miroku who had already picked up another arrow.
"Were you on the archery team at your school in Kyoto?" the teacher asked. Kagome shook her head.
"I couldn't..." she answered.
"Hmm..." the teacher kept her eyes on Kagome and then nodded her head. "Okay then..." Kagome smiled and grabbed another arrow. She had wanted to be on the archery team but never got the chance in Kyoto. Before archery had even start she had so much to do already.
Miroku faced her and grinned. "I think they're going to recruit you...." He said. Kagome looked at him with a surprised look.
"Recruit me for what?"
"The archery team, of course! We have one of the top teams in the country....did you know that?" he asked. Kagome shook her head as she shot an arrow, splitting one in half that was already stuck in the red dot.
"Yeah. But those girls are pretty awesome...." Miroku had a dreamy look on as he held his bow up. "Especially the captain...." Kagome leaned onto her bow and smiled. Looked like someone had a crush...
@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
Inuyasha closed his eyes, wanting nothing more to sleep. But he couldn't, he had too much on his mind. Most of it was because of that girl, Kagome Higurashi. She seemed to have gotten popular in one single day, all because that one bastard had announced her, his. He shook his head, he almost sounded jealous but he wasn't. Even if he was, it wasn't because of this new girl but because she looked so much like Kikyou.
"What am I saying...Kikyou is much prettier," Inuyasha said to himself. "She's nicer too, and more talented..." he bit his lip. His shoulders sagged. What was he going to do now? He had left Hokkaido to get away from everyone and everything that reminded him of her. So now how was he suppose to school when there was a girl who looked identical to the one reason he left home? He could transfer, maybe. Or he could just not go to school. Shaking his head, Inuyasha covered his face with his hands. He was afraid. He hadn't moved on like he had promised his friends in Hokkaido. He was still lingering on her memory. He wasn't ever going to move on. Two years had passed and every day he thought about her. She was embedded in his memory and in a way like a punishment for him.
"I wish you were here," he whispered. THOCK! Inuyasha raised his head, hearing the familiar noise of an arrow and target's contact. He stood up and walked over to the edge of the roof. He saw a class out on the field with bows and arrows in their hands, trying to hit the targets twenty feet away. Everyone was struggling badly, and no arrows had actually reached the targets yet. That was odd; he could have sworn he heard it. THOCK! Again, Inuyasha's head looked around, trying to find the target with the arrow. He found it. A bunch of arrows were stuck directly in the bull's eye of one of the targets.
Must be Sango. He looked at the platform and watched as she pulled back the arrow and then release. It hit dead center. He had to admit, the girl was good. She turned around and gave Miroku a high five, and that's when he noticed it. It wasn't Sango, but the person he didn't want to think about the most. She did archery too? Everything inside him melted. Could it be that.... He shook his head. She was too old to be a reincarnation, and it wouldn't work. He watched as she poised herself on the wooden platform once again.
They looked so much alike, even from afar they had the same body structure. They had the same concentration when they held a bow too. He watched as she released the arrow. She lowered the bow and stared at the target. Her back seemed to tense and Inuyasha saw as she brought a hand up to her chest. There way no way that she could sense him from down there, right? Everyone had a sixth sense but not from such a far distance. Could it be? She dropped her hand and looked around her frantically like she was searching for someone and then her head lifted. The blood drained from Inuyasha's face as she stared up at him from the ground. He took a step back and then quickly walked away. Did she really see him? He could have sworn that....she was looking directly at him too.
@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@
That was weird. Kagome tried to look pass the sun, but it was unbearable. She could have sworn someone was watching her, let alone standing on the roof. But now no one was there. Was she hallucination?
"Kagome! Something wrong?" Miroku asked. Kagome glanced back at the rooftop and shook her head.
"No, everything's fine..." **
Dropping her school bag on the ground she walked over to the kitchen. There was nothing in the refrigerator yet but some yogurt and milk. She wasn't in the mood for dairy. Kagome kicked off her shoes near the stairs and headed up stairs to her bed room. Long long LONG day. And it was only the first day! Kagome groaned as she tossed herself onto the bed.
She guessed homework came with the package as well. She had gotten over three projects, and a page assignment from each class. Stretching her back out, sighed, and hugged her pillow. But other than that she had quite a good day. She had made a friend at least. Miroku. He was pretty funny and needless to say, perverted. Oh no, not with her though, but with the rest of the girls that walked passed them through the halls. He always had the enlightened look on his face, and he was kind of charming. Kagome giggled, but it seemed that during their conversations she had learned that there was a certain girl Miroku had his eyes on.
Apparently she was captain of the archery team, and probably the biggest jock in the school. Kagome had caught minor glimpse of her from the distance when Miroku pointed her out. She was pretty actually, and she hung out with all guys too. And when Miroku tried to use one of his pick up lines he got slaughtered. She was tough too. But other than Miroku's drama, something really weird was happening to her. Kagome's hand fluttered to her chest. Was she sick again? Was something wrong with her heart? Maybe it was because of all the stress today. Kagome shook her head, nothing was wrong. She was just being a bit too paranoid.
And what about that boy? Inuyasha. What was his deal? She had three classes with him and every time she saw him he was moping her at least dreading something. He had those piercing gold eyes that shocked her and what started the alarming pulse. He didn't say anything to her and every time her eyes caught up with his, he glanced away quickly. Kagome hugged the pillow tighter. Plus, she felt like she kind of knew him.
"Weird..." Kagome closed her eyes. Then again her whole life had been weird. Sitting up she tossed the pillow away and proceeded down stairs, not knowing meeting Inuyasha would make the biggest impact in her life.
