Teasingly Dangerous

Any man can tell you that a knife-wielding woman was never a good thing. If you were to ask Robin what was more dangerous then a knife-wielding woman, he would easily say a knife-wielding Raven. Cyborg and Beastboy would most likely agree with him unless of course said knife-wielder were to turn her attention to them. How Robin had gotten caught in this little mess he wasn't so sure of himself.

Behind the mask Robin's eyes remained closed at least until he heard Starfire giggle. He knew it was at his expense and the fiery haired alien at first tried to intervene on his behalf but even the super strong girl did not want to cross Raven. Robin opened his eyes and nearly yelped in surprise at how close the pointed tip of the knife was to his nose.

The Titan's leader gulped, as he stood pretty much cross-eyed at the knife levitating before him. His hands shot up in surrender as the pale skinned teen muttered words under her breath. His mask covered eyes traveled to her face. Remnants of the liquid he had accidentally spilled on her, traveled from violet colored locks and the sides of her pale face. Raven's violet eyes flared with anger and he was actually quite surprised that they hadn't changed blood red. The absence of her third eye could only mean that she wasn't as mad as she was letting on, after all it was only an accident.

"Come on Raven, I didn't mean it. It was an accident." He tried apologizing for what felt like the hundredth time.

Raven's brow rose and Robin caught sight of another knife surrounded in black energy making it's way towards him. The traffic-light dressed bird sighed in defeat and the knife just inches away from his nose poked the delicate skin. The sensation was small, like a prick on a needle but still hurt nonetheless.

He tried again. "Look I'm really really sorry Raven. I didn't mean to spill that glass of milk on you." Robin stepped back, wondering why he hadn't tried that before; from his enraged looking teammate. He stopped himself from glaring at the others, as they laughed at his situation, afraid to take his eyes away from the teen. The usually calm leader was not hiding this situation funny in the least. "I was just trying to help."

Violet eyes flashed, "By touching me?" Her voice was colder with a hint of something else. Was it amusement? Robin didn't have time to contemplate on it as more knives left their home from within the drawer. These weren't stationary like the previous two that remained aims at him. No, these were for throwing. One embedded itself in the wood of the cabinet behind him; the Boy Wonder slowly turned his attention to the object that was centimeters from his ear.

Mask covered eyes hastily turned to the cloak-clad teen before he darted through his first opening. He didn't under stand why she was angry with him. It wasn't like he ever touched her in that way before. He touched in that way more times then he could count, though it was in the safety of either his or her bedroom but that was beside the point. Maybe it was mood swings. Whatever it was he had to...wait was she laughing? Robin dared to turn slightly and glance over his shoulder, another knife just barely missing his forward. His grew wide and the teen jumped over the couch, heading for the hallway. Only one thought crossed his mind as another knife whizzed past his head while he pasted Starfire's room.

She was playing with him.
