Ok this is my first 24 fan Fic so pretty please Read and Review. I accept and encourage constructive criticism.
Jack stood idly on the doorstep of his brother Graham's house. The longer he waited the more he didn't want to go in there. When he walked through that door way all the old feeling and memories of his family would come back. He and his brother had never really gotten along; they always seemed to have different points of view. "Do I really need to go in there?" Jack wondered to himself while slowly drawing his hand back from the door bell. "What is the point? There are other ways to find dad." But then a more forceful voice in his head, "No there aren't, at least there aren't any other ways to reach him in time." With that Jack forced himself to ring the door bell.
Within 15 seconds Gray opened the door." Jack, wow, I didn't expect to see you here wow just come on in." Jack stepped by Gray without saying a word and look around the house. Gray attempted to make small talk and Jack just responded with one word answers. He looked up and saw her, Marilyn Bauer. She was the woman he had an affair with while married to Terri… Jack cringed at the thought. Jacks unfaithfulness had driven him and Terri apart until it was too late. Yet as Jack looked at Marilyn He thought she looked just as breathtaking as ever.
Jack had fallen in love with Marilyn but had gone back to his family where he was needed. It killed him that she had ended up marring his brother 2 months later. Yet what had startled him was that just 6 months after being married to Gray she had a little boy. Jack had spent many sleepless nights wondering if the child was his and in the end decided that even if he was Joshua's father things were better as they were. It would have destroyed Josh to find out his father was really the man he believed to be his uncle. It would have destroyed Kim if she had discovered that Jack had been cheating on her mother. It was just best to let sleeping dogs lay Jack had resolved. That had been his resolution until now as he looks at Joshua standing before him. Jack used to try to stay involved in his nephew's life until about nine years ago but now…
