A note from our Author.

Hello readers. My name is Jean kirchstien and I'm writing this book for my AP English class. This is a true story about my bestfriend, Armin Arlert. It's my story. It's his story. It's our story.

I met Armin Arlert in a strange way. I was in 7th grade, and he was in 6th. We had caught eachothers glances...

As his bestfriend, Eren Yeager, slammed me into a wall.

Ah yes, that asshole. I make one true and blunt statement about how be shouldn't act like such a snobby brat and he almost rips my favorite shirt.

Honestly, I don't understand how that asshole and sweet little Armin Arlert could be friends.

Yes, I caught Armin's eyes while Eren screamed at me. Those ocean orbs staring wide eyed at the seen. I could almost see the gears turning in his mind as he analyzed what was happening.

Yes, that was the first time I saw Armin Arlert.

The second time I met him, he was eating alone in the library. I had gone in there to hide out from my friends Sasha's food fest. (Seriously, that girl downs food like crazy! And it gets everywhere)

Anyway, he was just there. Eating away at a PB and J sandwich while reading Shakespeare.

I'm 6th grade.

At his own free will.

I think that's when I realized how big of a dork Armin really was.

I walked over, and sat down in front of him. He didn't even miss a beat as he turned the page. "If you want to beat me up, at least wait until after school." He said, his blue orbs scanning the old text. "I think I could make room on my schedule and fit you in at 4. Reiner and his gang have me at 3:30."

I blinked.

This dork was a smartass.

I liked it.

"Oh shut up, Arlert." I said, pushing his book down. He looked up at me, clearly annoyed. "You know I'd never hurt a lovely lady such as yourself~"

Armin rolled his eyes, and pulled the book back up. He obviously didn't like me.

And for some reason, that didn't sit right with me.

So, instead of doing the smart thing and leaving this smartass, sassy little blonde. I decided to annoy the shit out of him.

I poke his nose.

And do you know what this little blonde shit does to me?

He bites me.

"Ow!"

The small tween smiled innocently and went back to his book as if nothing happened. The smile turning into a slight smirk as I nursed my injury.

"Ugh, I'm probably gonna turn into a nerd now. Your need germs infected me." I groaned, sprawling myself onto the table.

Armin giggled. "It only takes a few minutes, Kirchstien. You better watch out. Pretty soon you'll be reading book for fun."

"Oh God!"

Armin laughed again, his eyes sparkling and his face slightly red. The book fell from his hands as he leaned forward.

I felt my face heat up as I stared at the beautiful sight.

Back then, I had no idea what this kid was going to do to me. I was so naïve, so innocent...

I had no idea this angle was going to create my own personal hell.
