"Alison..."
Alison was standing at the window, the golden sun blanketing the room in a warm glow.
"Yes Ben?" she said absently, tear tracks on her face.
"I've packed my bags, I'm leaving now."
She gave a sob then took in a deep breath.
"Ok," she breathed.
Benny went over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. She pulled away.
"No Ben, its too late you've made your decision, you chose the hooker over me,"
"She is not a hooker, she's a long time friend that needs me."
"To pay for her drug addiction," Alison said under her breath.
Benny's face hardened. "Don't judge me for this."
"Oh and how am I not meant to! You go running off with an exotic dancer!" Alison snapped back.
"I told you, its not..."
"Don't tell me what it is and what it isn't! I'm calling it as I see it!"
"Mimi has AIDS,"
"Well that's Mimi's fault! It's not your problem to deal with!"
"I care for her."
"More than you care for your wife?"
Benny's mouth opened then shut. He set is jaw tight then turned around heading for the door. He slammed the door behind him. Alison walked over to the mantle piece above the fireplace and took a picture frame. Tears splashed onto the picture of her wedding. She set it down again and crossed the room to her balcony. She stood at the edge and took in a deep breath and stood on top of the railing. She spread her arms out, feeling slightly Titanic esk and jumped.
Got bored during health, that's what happens when they try to teach me things. Benny is breaking up with Alison to be with Mimi. I actually got confused as to why in the song "Goodbye Love" it says "It's true your with this yuppie scum," when Benny is meant to be married to Alison, so I answered my own question.
If anyone would like to give me a real answer go ahead and sorry if I spelt her name wrong, couldn't be bothered to check it.
