"Guys, look what my Dad got me!" Ed excitedly showed his friends the full deck of Pokemon cards.
"That's very nice of him, Ed."
"Poka-what? Is this some kind of dance?"
"Pokemon, Eddy. Wanna play?"
"You're asking us to play card games?" Eddy grumbled.
"It didn't take much of an argument when Ed gave his friends the old puppy dog eyes.
"Okay, so I play Pikachu!" Ed said placing down a card in the middle.
It was Eddy's turn. "This guy with a fireball on the end of his tail."
"I play this pink creature."
"Double D wins!" Ed announced.
"How does Double D win? That thing doesn't look like it could kill yah!"
"Jigglypuff will send you to sleep, Eddy. No one lasts a chance against her."
"Works for me." Edd said.
"Wait, how do we know you're not making this up?" Eddy said.
"Honest, Eddy, it's all from the show. Let's play again" Ed said.
"Okay, I choose the guy with the fire tail again."
"Butterfree!"
"This sleeping creature."
"Double D wins again. You must have a lucky deck, Mr. Luck."
"Okay, now I know you're making up the rules. That guy is sleeping!" Eddy complained once more.
"Snorlax can sit on you if he falls asleep. And it is very hard to move him when he falls asleep."
"Like Eddy on the weekends?" Edd teased.
"Hey!"
The game went on for hours until Edd noticed it was dark out.
"Can we stop, please? We've been at this all day." Edd complained.
"Not until I win!" A now deranged Eddy said.
"I put down Snorlax." Edd said.
"Jigglypuff."
Eddy's face grew as red as a hot pepper. He slammed down his cards.
"That's it! I'm putting myself down as one of those poka-whatevers! I can wake that sleeping creature and out sing that pink thing! Got it?!" Eddy shouted shaking his fist in his friends faces.
"Loud and clear, Eddy." Edd said rubbing his ear.
"Good job, Eddy." Ed congratulated. "You should challenge the other kids too."
Eddy calmed down. That mischievous smile grew on his face. "Boys, I think we have our plans for tomorrow."
"Best get some rest, Ed. It's going to be a long day tomorrow."
