"Happy Valentines Day!"

I put both of my hands over my ears, and groaned. I've seen Percy a dozen times today. I've heard those three words more.

"No. No more, please," I begged, smirking.

He walked in stride with me, grinning that grin that I've officially labeled as the 'Aw-man-I've-got-an-idea-that'll-get-us-in-so-much-trouble-come-on' smile.

"You're going to die when you see what I've planned for us, Annabeth," he said. "It's going to be amazing."

"What, you're going to play One Direction and crank the volume to its highest capacity or something?" I asked.

"That's only for your birthday," he winked at me. "This will be better. Promise."

I gasped dramatically, and stopped walking altogether. "Better than One Direction?"

"Ha ha, really funny. Don't you know?" he said. "That's Jason's thing."

"And Leo's thing," I added.

"Talking about me again, are we?" a voice from behind me said happily, just as Leo stepped in between us, letting his arms fall over our shoulders.

"Hot stuff," Percy winked at him, and Leo smiled an embarassed smile as he remembered that day with Narcissus and Echo. . . And Hazel.

"What are you doing here, Leo?" I asked. "Shouldn't you be fixing the world and all it's problems with your trusty tool-belt or something?"

"I'm here for Percy, little lady," he said.

"Oh, me?" Percy acted surprised. "You really shouldn't have."

"Oh, ha ha," Leo fake-laughed. "No. Actually, it's about your little Valentine's Day surprise."

"Ooooh, I wonder who it's for," I joked.

"Rachel Elizabeth Dare, didn't you know?" Leo chuckled.

My cheeks burned. "That's not funny."

"She's like a million miles away in California, anyway," Leo waved his hand, dismissing the subject. He turned to Percy. "So, Perce, normal or blue?"

"Blue," Percy replied.

"Blue?" I asked.

"Yes," Percy replied, with a straight face.

Diddling my fingers, I asked, "What if I don't want a Valentine's Day present?"

"It doesn't matter." He smiled.

"What if I 100% refuse to get a Valentine's Day present?"

He looked at me, his eyes flickering in the light. "You're getting one, Wise Girl."

Leo, before walking away, added, "And you're going to love it, too."

That night, I walked into our bedroom, and as it turns out, I didn't even need to switch on the light.

All over the room there were just. . . candles. Small candles, colorful candles, short candles, long candles on the shelves on the dresser on the windowsills. They illuminated the room in a sort of creepy way that made my shoulders relax. Percy.

Amidst it all, Percy was standing in a tuxedo. A tuxedo. There were a dozen red flowers in his left hand, and in his right held a tray with blue chocolates. Little blue miracles.

I dropped my keys and my purse on the floor, and I ran up to him, and I hugged him. I squeezed him so tight that he had no choice but to drop his roses and his chocolates and squeeze back.

"I love you, Seaweed Brain."

"Happy Valentines Day, Wise Girl."

WOP-WOP. So this is my third official story. If a oneshot even counts as a story. Don't you love how you just have to guess their ages in these? In this it's sort of an AU where they're still demigods but they're adults and they have jobs and lives and idk but it was VALENTINES DAY HURRAY FOR THE HALLMARK HOLIDAY! (And yes ik its not even valentines day its happy new year and maybe I'll write a story for that too but I wanted a valentines day percabeth story like everybody else ok)

Don't forget to tell me if you liked it!

[Oh, and none of these characters are mine. They fully and irrevocably belong to Rick Riordan. I really gotta remember to do this. . . ]
