As she steps out, the board shakes ominously, sending unheeded danger signals to her brain.
(the door swings open slowly, and no one's there)
She walks out confidently, not noticing her height above the calm water.
(she feels sosmall inside the empty room, and where is he?)
Her toes curl arund the edge, the only hold she has or needs.
(whyohwhy can't she stand anymore? Where did he go?)
The cavernous room is filled with the echoes of voices and footsteps, yet she stands atop her perch, unaffected.
(SmerekSmartiloveSmugbigbrother oh god the walls are closing in)
Eyes closed and face peaceful, she raises her arms up high and breaches-in once, out once.
(no ones and she can't breathe Smerek oh Smerek, come out wherever you are!)
She bounces once-
(she's been hit and she can't get up)
Twice
(SMEREK HELP ME)
And jumps.
(and as she hits rock bottom she's alone)
