Mirage
Authors Note : Some thing very short I wrote based on a dream. To long to be a drabble but to short to be a story just something my mind saw.
"Hey." She knew that voice anywhere rough and soothing all at once and with a little pain mixed in. Her heart fluttered although her mind screamed, "No!" Cassie stopped walking towards her car and turned around out of habit she grabbed the squirt gun of holy water she kept in her purse just in case. There he was stepping out of the darkness like some rock n' roll angel. He smiled shyly and ran his hand over the back of his head as he looked her up and down.
"Dean."
"Cassie." Her name sounded so good when it came out of his mouth rolling off his tongue. She had to catch herself from staring to intensely at him, but damn it he was perfection in the flesh. "I missed you so much." She didn't need to know anything else, she fell into his arms all was forgiven and the years didn't matter. He was warm and smelled like summer. Cassie felt safe in the cage of Dean's arms and she never wanted to leave. Logic had told her that he was dead, but her heart knew better.
"Save me, "she pleaded when she felt him begin to break their embrace.
"Cassie I can't," Dean started but Cassie's lips crushed into his. Soon they were falling faster and faster it grew dark and she reached out for him but he slipped away. Suddenly she was alone again and the pain had returned.
"Well, well that was interesting," Alistair laughed. He picked up his bloody scalpel and smiled he had Cassie had been at it for hours. She choked out a sob as her lips whispered.
"Dean."
"Cassie," Dean woke up screaming .
