Every morning like clockwork every since she had left Grissom would send her the some text message "I love you and the baby." Today she was waiting for that text message with her mom and an old friend. They were going to shop for stuff for the baby and she was going to get gifts for the team. She had all ready found and brought Warrick's gift. As her phone begin to beep she was about to say let's go he's out with the team. Opening her phone she saw "Warrick's been shot."
Rushing to her room she thought 'I should have gone back when I found that I was pregnant.' Throwing a few things in a bag. Walking back into the kitchen she saw that Harm was back for awhile.
"Hey Sara," said Harm turning to see her in tears. "What's wrong? Come here."
"Warrick's been shot. I'm here. Grissom. Grissom needs me."
"You know what Mac and I were leaving for Vegas on the next flight out. And you know how Mac is. She booked three seats so you can fly with us."
"Thanks Harm. When do we leave?" asked Sara. "Hi Mac." She added as Sarah Mackenzie-Rabb (Mac to all her friends and Harmon Rabb Jr.) entered the room.
"Right now. Mom, we're leaving and Sara's going with us." said Harm.
"Wait a minute." Come the reply from said mom.
"Mom, I'm leaving with Mac and Harm." Said a still shocked Sara as her phone sounded again. She opened it and read the text, 'And remember I love you and the baby.' Sara smiled but it was a sad smile as both said mother walked into the room.
"Sara, what's wrong?" asked both moms.
"Warrick's been shot."
"And she needs to be with Grissom."
"So how is she getting to get on the plane?" asked Laura Sidle. She looked over at Trisha Burnett and knowing she was thinking the same thing.
"Mac brought three tickets to Vegas," said Harm as he picked up his and Mac's bags. Looking at Sara and Mac who was standing behind Sara before walking out the front door. Sara and Mac soon followed after hugs from both mothers.
