My Vows
My dearest,
I can't stop smiling,
Because you are my everything.
You have given me everything,
That there is to give,
Words cannot express my gratitude.
You are perfect in every way,
I don't deserve you,
And yet, I have you.
I don't understand how,
I was lucky enough,
To win such a wonderful man.
I thank God for you daily,
Because only such a person,
Would be kind enough,
To put us together.
You have always been supportive,
Never told me I wasn't good enough,
Always told me to keep trying,
Thank you for that.
You've always stood by me,
Through the good times,
And the really good times,
No matter what.
I've always been able,
To turn to you,
You've always listened,
And understood what I was,
Going through.
I wouldn't have survived,
Not without you,
Here by my side.
You have shared yourself with me,
And made life,
Our perfect stranger,
Our perfect miracle.
I wouldn't have you,
Another way than,
You are,
My dearest.
I love the way you hold me,
The way you comfort me,
The way you look at me,
The way you treat me.
Thank you for everything,
Thank you for being there,
Thank you for loving me,
For who I am.
I will treat you will respect,
I will love, cherish,
Honor and obey you,
All the days of my life.
I will do all this,
And so much more,
Because I love you,
And only you.
