Kushina's Birthday
They say you only live once.
They also say you only love once.
For Minato, it was very true. There was no other person he loves and adores more than Uzumaki Kushina of Uzushiogakure, the crimson-haired woman who stole his heart the very moment he laid eyes on her, many years ago in Konoha's Academy.
She's beautiful.
She's lovable.
She's hot-tempered.
But in the end, she was his wife, the queen who ruled over his heart and nothing was going to change that fact. His friends would ask, "But what about Naruto? Don't you love him as well?
Minato would only reply, "There are two kinds of love. The first one is where you love your soul mate. The second is where you love your children."
Many people didn't understand this but those who did knew what he was talking about. When you love your wife, it is like no other love, but that of which you share your life with. This kind of love is the one that challenges a man, challenges him in every aspect a relationship has to give. Yes, there were arguments. Yes, there were times he was kicked out. But through all those arguments, through all those trials, a deeper love blossomed.
And his love for Kushina was never-ending.
With crimson roses in one hand and a pristine white box in the other, he walked inside his home. Kushina's back greeted him first and then she turned around, a wide smile curving her lips. She was happy, ecstatic even. After a long day of work, this was a beautiful sight.
"Happy birthday Kushina." He handed her the bouquet and gifted her slow, passionate kiss.

"You know, there are many stars in the skies," he gazed into her violet eyes, watching them change into a deeper shade. "But only the moon has the power to enchant. I love you Kushina. I'll love you till no end."
