Roses in the Sea

No one knew when you'd come, some had already left…they were the lucky ones

Only those who were victimized by your performance were forced into a dark watery grave

I included; I wrote this before the first one came an hour later, I never expected to see people sing at the top of their lungs

And to see the water stained with maroon roses only gave away the significance that most people had only nightmares about

To see a shadow in the water, those eyes looking at you as you swam against time…only to stare it death as those eyes rolled back like dolls eyes

The last memory you ever had…was how you managed to stay alive

To stand still and watch the true form of the devil swim around you in laps of black thorns

And now you face the factor of another one…many others don't think it would hurt them, more or less swallow them

Then with those teeth it slowly bites into the most unlucky person in the seven seas…the hardest part was accepting that you rolled a seven instead of a ten

Going into shock showed how weak you were, this thing that appeared as everyone's worst fear in a different form each time

It couldn't smell you…but only inhale the odor that would send you off the end of the world

The kind of odor so dense that even the lightest breath filled your stomach with thorns…poking and stabbing you

Then as it makes the last turn of victims…you gave way to your last thought…

That the sky turned into a cover of colorless emotions

And then…nothing
