SERIOUSLY?they killed Wally and...what? ok...don't get me wrong, the finale was awesome, but Wally did not have to die, this is a oneshot based on the frustration I have...or rather an alternate scene I guess you could say. for those of us who wish Wally were still alive. Also kind of based from that scene in Justice League...ironically that flash was wally west too...why does the DCuniverse want Wally dead?
"Wally?" said Artemis, her eyes were wide with shock as Wally began to glow brilliant blue, and disappear.
"The speedforce." whispered Flash, Bart and the others immediately looked up at Flash for an explanation.
"The Speedforce is where we speedsters get our power source, when we die we become one with it..." he explained, Wally looked up at Artemis and gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Its going to be ok Artemis...you'll see..." he said with a warm smile, he knew what was going on...he could feel the tug of the speedforce as it called out to him. Artemis grabbed his wrist...no she was not going to let this...this speedforce take Wally away from her...she was not going to lose him.
Dick took Wally's other hand, a look of determination on his face.
"And who says we're going to let you?" he asked, Wally looked at Artemis and Dick who held his hands in a vice grip. He groaned as behind him a white rift opened, trying to suck Wally in. Artemis and Nightwing stood strong trying to keep him from leaving.
The others joined in and tried to pull Wally away from the Speedforce, the speedster's eyes widened...as a tiny voice whispered in the back of his mind.
"Wallace...become one with us..." it whispered, Wally lookedat his friends.
"Guys, the Speedforce is calling me home..." said Wally, he began to vibrate when something wet landed on his face. He looked up at Artemis, she was crying.
"Please don't leave us Wally, we love you...we need you...I need you...please don't give up." she pleaded, her voice cracked, as tears fell...
"Shes' right Wally, you're my best friend, and I don't want to lose you...none of us do...please fight it." pleaded Dick, Wally clenched his hands around theirs, and began to pull away from the Speedforce. He'd been fully prepared to leave and go to the Speedforce...but now...
Now that he knew they needed him...he was not going to abandon Artemis...he was not going to abandon his family...he was not going to abandon his friends...he was going to live.
He screamed as he ripped himself away from the Speedforce...he groaned and fell to the ground on his knees, Artemis, and the others quickly knelt beside him.
"Wally?" said Artemis, cuppin his face in her hand, Wally smiled and kissed her lips.
"My hero." he whispered, with a small smile as he hugged her, she embraced him and buried her face in his shoulder.
"Group hug!" exclaimed Bart as he glomped Wally and Artemis happily. Followed by Barry,Dick,Megan,Connor and the others... Wally smiled, he was alive...and he was going to be just fine...
Please review...I know it obliterates canon, but to be fair...this is probably going to be one of many stories where Wally lives, instead...among other things people didn't like about the finale...I liked it...but...I don't know...I'm probably going to come off as a crybaby...
