My first (very short) attempt in an English fanfic. Please bear with me I know I'm bad, but Reviews would be very nice
Heartbeat
With each beat of my heart I can hear my blood rush through my ears. It's so loud I can't hear anything else.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
I can feel my lips form your name, but I can't hear my own voice over the noise of my heart.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
My vision is blurry, I can't see a thing. There's too much blood in my eyes.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
All ot once, just as you fall through the veil, everything stops.
. . .
I
can't hear my blood any longer
My voice screams your name
Aghast
I gaze at the fluttering grey veil
. . .
Everything turns cold, my heart stops beating, the world stops turning. But then
THUMP THUMP THUMP
And I realise unconsciously that my heart will continue beating, my blood will continue flowing and that I will have to live without you.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
I hate this sound.
