A Sticky Situation
Keith didn't know how things went so wrong so fast but when to goo machine went haywire and started throwing sticky goo on everything and everyone in the kitchen, he knew he had to do everything in his power to keep himself from getting stuck.
"Hunk! What the heck did you do to the machine?" Pidge yelled as she desperately dodged the flying goo as Lance used his big arms to shield her from getting hit. Allura was close to Keith as they hid behind the counter while Shiro and Hunk both tried to corner the spewing pipe.
Hunk grabbed the Pipe and twisted it around in a quick knot as he shrugged his shoulders and turned his head around to answer back. "I don't know Pidge, this thing hasn't done this since Alfor took over the entire ship and tried to kill us!"
"Wait a minute, you guys were actually telling the truth about that?" Lance asked Pidge as he held her in his arms, keeping her from getting hit in the face with the goo. Unfortunately for them, the goo had gotten them to stick together and now they were in a very awkward position to say the least.
Pidge rolled her eyes at his surprised reaction as she yelled at him, "YES LANCE. THE KITCHEN DID TRIED TO KILL US ONCE!"
"Alright we need to get this situation under control and fast, Allura tell us how to fix this thing before we all wind up with a one way trip to the baths for a week." Shiro called out as he opened up the board to fix the machine.
Allura popped her head above the counter and yelled at him, "There should be an emergency shut off switch on the control panel! You can't miss it, it's red and it has a big x on it."
The goo exploded from the knot that Hunk had tied together and before it could land all over Allura's face, Keith brought her head back down and saved her from scrubbing her face for a good few hours.
"Thanks Keith I-"Allura started to say before she realized how close they were. Keith's hand had slipped from where it was on the ground which caused him to move forward slightly so they were now nose to nose. Her face went red and she could tell that his face was doing the exact same thing, forgetting about the goo they both stood up quickly and winded up getting sprayed with sticky food goo .
They slipped and fell down onto the ground on top of each other and were now connected together in a very awkward position. Allura's hands were all over Keith's chest and Keith had his hands around Allura's waist as he caught her from taking the brunt of the fall. They were now red as tomatoes as the other Paladins went to go help them out.
"You guys OK?" Shiro asked as he helped Allura and Keith up with Hunk. They managed to lift them off the ground and now the others were starting to giggle at their situation.
Pidge nudged Lance and grinned, "Kinda a sticky situation for them right?"
"Looks like they got their hands full." Lance joked with her as the others couldn't help but give a chuckle at their awkward position.
Keith and Allura weren't having it though as they gave a murderous look at all of them in unison while looking like a cover of a romance novel.
Shiro coughed and helped split the two apart with Hunk as he looked at all his friends with a smile. "Alright that was fun. We managed to shut off the goo machine so now we're all taking baths before we go to bed. Everyone agree with that?"
Everyone agreed as they left the Kitchen looking like they spent five hours having a food fight from hell. But Keith and Allura couldn't bear to look at each other since their sticky situation as intimate lovers for a brief period of time.
