Link smiled, standing over a bleeding crow with a satisfied grin. It was a great feeling, to have his blade make contact with the bird, and slice so easily through its feathers, its flesh, its muscles. To hear its loud screech and feel the force of his sword cut through it. He shuddered, with the pleasure of it. It was an amazing feeling.

He didn't know if it was sexual, and he didn't really understand it. He didn't need to. It was an amazing feeling, it was a thrill, and all needed to do to get it, was so simple. But a crow is a small kill. It can't even compare to killing a temple boss. He shivered again, goose bumps on his arms.

He knelt down over the crow and felt its wing. It was nearly torn from its body, and it was obviously dead. Such a small thing couldn't survive that. He picked it up, and ruffled its feathers, feeling the open wound, and its blood spilling onto the ground.

Link set it down and examined the blood on his hands. It was such a pretty color, a shining ruby red. He brought his hand closer to his face and licked it. Its metallic taste filled his mouth, and it was somehow… sweet. He licked it again, more eagerly this time, its taste made his heart race. Link got up, looking around.

He needed more. More of that sweet taste in his mouth, more of the thrill it gave him. He wanted it so bad.

He spotted in the distance Ganon's castle, and smiled. There were sure to be monsters in there. He licked his lips, hunger in his eyes, and took off running. He had a feeling Ganondorf was even tastier than the witches in the spirit temple had been.
