Madam Pomfrey handed the potion to Harry. –drink up. This will help with the pain and let you get some sleep. - harry groaned and downed the potion reluctantly. This was not surprising since it was potion class that put him in this position in the first place.

Hermione Ron and Ginny came running into the hospital wing.

How is he madam Pomfrey?- Hermione asked worriedly

He is fine Miss Granger; I just gave him something for the pain and to put him to sleep. You can stay with him until he is asleep.

The three of them walked over to Harry's bed.

Hermione! How are you

Hermione smiled indulgently – I'm good Harry, how are you-

I'm Wonderful! This is the best potion ever!-

Ron sniggered

That's nice harry but you need your rest.

Your right Hermione, you're always right that's one of the things I love about you.

Harry didn't notice the slight rise of tension in the room

-that's… that's nice of you to say harry- Hermione responded hesitantly

That's not all I love about you, there are many other reasons, you taking care of me, you being there for me, your support of me-

Hermione didn't respond, Ron looked like someone just punched him in the gut and even Ginny seemed almost tearful but harry took no notice and continued talking.

-I remember a time after Dudley beat me and I was locked in my cupboard dreaming about what it would be like if I had a sister or female cousin instead of Dudley. I thought that she would be one hundred times better than Dudley.-

Again harry didn't notice the lightening of atmosphere in the room.

Then I came to Hogwarts and became friends with you and it was like all my dreams of a big sister came true. You take care of me, you help me finish my homework, and you make sure I eat enough-

At this point Hermione and Ginny were on the verge of bawling and Ron had a slight smile on his face. Harry yawned.

-Hey mionie, could you tuck me in- harry asked sleepily

Hermione went and made sure the covers were snug around him

-You're the best big sister ever – harry mumbled as he drifted off to sleep

Hermione bent down and placed a soft kiss on Harry's forehead, thin turned to the other two who both had tears in their eyes although Ron would deny it profusely.

-Lets go, let him sleep- Hermione said quietly.

Ginny came over and put her arm around her.-sure thing big sis.- Ginny said cheekily.

Hermione beamed.
