Wario dashed through, throwing him and Villager upwards. He didn't really care though- it wasn't like that gas butt summoned him, anyways. Palutena did something with her staff, making him flinch. He still wondered how in the world he managed in the first place considering all the other assist whatever. He jumped up, shovel dropping on Villager, making both him and the kid go upwards. He bounced off Villager again, once again both of them going upwards. He didn't pay much attention to what else was going on. Palutena was thrown into his shovel's hitbox, throwing her to the side.
All the sudden, something was hitting him and the other fighters multiple times. It was some sort of giant moon. It exploded, sending everyone in a different direction.
Players one, three, and two were KO'd normally while player four, who was Samus apparently, was star KO'd.
One question immediately went into his mind.
How in the world did he survive?
-()-
"Ok, WHY is the Moon from Majora's Mask here?!" Link asked.
"I don't know. Assist Trophy logic, I guess," Samus shrugged.
"You saw what it did! How could you be so casual about it?!" Wario exclaimed. "Heck, how did that indie character whatever his name is survive?!"
"From what I gathered, Assist Trophies have set knockback when hit hard," Samus explained.
"Also, the indie character's name is Shovel Knight," Villager added.
"We didn't even finish the battle because Master Hand just wanted to show off that Moon character!" Wario added. "Now that I think about, how is a moon even a character?"
"Welcome to my world's weird form of characters," Link sighed. Somehow, this made Samus, Villager, and Wario laugh.
For some reason, Waluigi and Shovel Knight heard them.
"Smash logic is all I'll say," Waluigi shrugged, both of them caring for what the four said.
"I guess my situation is like your's, huh?" Shovel Knight hummed, putting one of his hands on the edge of his helmet.
"A character that a lot of people want to be playable but ended up as an assist? True," Waluigi replied.
(Don't ask why I made this mess. When I was watching The4thGenGamer's reaction to the Smash Direct, I noticed that, when they showed off the moon character, SK survived the whole mess. So, that's how this came to be. Yea... until next time, lights on!)
