Winter

T'was no doubt 'bout it—
Fifty years had passed you see—
Kikyou was dead.
Her body burned to ashes,
Her soul lurked in Hell,
Her life a feudal legend.
Her bones were interred
Until the ogre arrived,
And plundered them all
To recreate the miko.
And so Kikyou
Became legend once again—
Not as pure, but as tainted.
