This one is about my main Warriors OC, Dawntail. After I started work on my bigger project, The Rise of DeathClan, I wanted to do several Super Editions on the cats from that series. I think I'll want to do one on Scrawny himself, but I'm not sure that will happen. Yet again, thanks to Scrawny on Doodle Club for permission on OCs. It is most appreciated. I don't really know how I'm supposed to do allegiances on here, so I'll just specify the clan when the cat is introduced. So here we go!

Dawntail's Journey

Dark Grey rain clouds covered the forest. Leaf-bare was drawing to an end and the forest seemed to be coming back to life after the cold, snowy months. Rain pelted and lightning flashed, and the shadowy silhouette of a black she-cat crept through the undergrowth. Her blue eyes scanned the wet, muddy ground for signs of civilization. Why did she seem to have a knack for bad luck? More importantly, was her clan searching for her? She had been chosen deputy, given a prophecy from StarClan, and now she was lost in the middle of nowhere while her Clan was probably suffering at the paws of Scrawny.

Dawntail wondered if even StarClan had forsaken her. Had she broken the warrior code? She was about to give up all hope of returning to the Clans, let alone catch some fresh kill when a voice sounded out of the darkness, "D-Dawntail? Is it you?".

"Yes, Spottedpaw," Dawntail recognized the MoonClan apprentice's voice, "You can come out now. Are you lost?"

Spottedpaw leapt off of the tree branch he was sitting on and bounded into the clearing. His spotted white pelt was visible against the blackness of midnight. His green eyes showed fear and worry. "Yes, I-I've been separated from Dappleface. Did Lionstar send you to find me?".

"No, I'm afraid not. Shall we try to head back? Dappleface and Featherheart will be worried out of their minds.".

"You're not worried?".

"We can't be far out of territory, come.".

"Okay, that was some storm, even StarClan must have been shaken.".

Dawntail and Spottedpaw wandered the territory for a while with no result. Dawntail couldn't make out the territory in the rain and fog. After a while, Dawntail sat on the ground and let out a sigh of aggravation.

"What's wrong? Are we home yet?" Spottedpaw questioned.

"We. Are. Lost. I have no idea where we are. We're are going to have to make camp.".

"Right, do you need any herbs? Or shall we find shelter first?" For all his flaws, Spottedpaw was efficient in a crisis.

"Shelter first, then I'll find fresh kill." Then Dawntail led Spottedpaw to a bundle of bushes sheltered by a large rock. The storm had cleared up by now, revealing an unknown and strange territory. There was a large body of water, larger that Spottedpaw or Dawntail had ever seen. They had been wandering for about a day and the sun was setting, sinking into the vast lake. Beside their claimed camp was a mountain with a path winding up it to some unknown place.

Dawntail stalked through the forest, eager for fresh kill. The hunger burned like fuel inside her belly. Opening her mouth to taste the air, she screwed up her eyes and followed the scent of mouse to the base of a tree. She had the advantage, she was downwind from the furry creature. She dropped into the hunter's crouch, and bunched her muscles, ready to pounce on the unaware creature. Dawntail ponced and took it out with one deadly swipe.

The day's hunt had been fairly successful and Dawntail brought back two mice and a thrush. However, before either of the two could lay a paw on their dinner, a tom's deep voice sounded from behind them, "What are you two doing here?".
