Red ordered his Pikachu to use Iron Tail, scoring a direct hit on Green's Venusaur, named Venus, who was weakened from a previous battle. 'Oh no, Venus! Hang in there..!' She thought. "Use Frenzy Plant!" Green shrieked. Slender vines erupted out of the battlefield, wrapping around Pikachu and squeezing him, until Pikachu went down. "Damn." Red muttered. "It's all on you. Go, Charizard!" Red threw his trusty Charizard's Pokéball as he bursts from the ball, letting out a mighty roar. Venus had to recharge from using Frenzy Plant. "Use Flamethrower!" Red yells, as his partner releases powerful flames from his mouth, knocking out Venus. "Alright, return Venus." Green says, holding an Ultra Ball in her left hand.
"Zapdos! I choose you!" She yells, throwing out Zapdos' Pokéball. "Charizard, are you ready?" Red whispers to his companion. Charizard nodded. Zapdos came out of the Ultra Ball with sudden bursts of lightning. Red rose his Mega Ring and tapped it with his index and middle finger. "Charizard, Mega Evolution!" Charizard became surrounded in a purple aura, as he started to Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard. Charizard spouted a black colour, with blue flames emanating from his mouth. "Use Drill Peck!" Green yells, swinging her arm around. Red barely says the words "Flare Blitz." Charizard becomes surrounded in a blue, fiery aura, as he charges straight into Zapdos, knocking it out almost instantaneously. "Oh my Arceus, Charizard is so strong! Taking out a Legendary like Zapdos in just one attack!" Green says admirably. "Yeah." Red mutters, giving Charizard a thumbs up. Blue, Red's arrogant rival starts to clap. "Alright, now you'll face me, Red." "Fine. Just let me heal my Pokémon." Red smirks.
"This will be a 6v6 battle! Battle... Begin!" Green yells. "Go, Pidgeot!" Blue exclaims as he throws the Pokéball containing Pidgeot, the bird Pokémon. "Feraligatr, go!" Red throws out the Pokéball with his starter Pokémon from Johto; Feraligatr. "Use Aqua Tail!" Red shouts, as Feraligatr rushes towards Pidgeot, his tail glowing with power. "Pidgeot, fly into the air and use Featherdance!" Pidgeot soared and released feathers aimed at Feraligatr, lowering his attack stat. "Now use Sky Attack!" Blue yells, as Pidgeot starts to glow. "Pidgeot, attack!" Blue shrieks as Pidgeot dashes towards Feraligatr at full force. Red barely mutters the words; "Ice Punch." Feraligatr grabs Pidgeot and then used Ice Punch on his chest. "Pidgeot!" Blue was shocked. "Hydro Cannon!" Feraligatr opened his jaw wide, as a giant water orb shot out of his mouth, knocking out Pidgeot.
