Broken Fox

Chapter 1- The Attack

"Aahhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Garaa no! Don't come near me! Get away! Someone save us!" Screamed a young blond-haired blued-eyed boy no older than 13 as he crawled away from his attacker. "Somebody anybody Help!"

Bam

The blond boy was hit by something hard. The last things he heard was his red-headed friend's labored breathing and his rasped "Naruto" escape his lips and his unknown attacker chuckle and said "I will see you soon my little kitsune. Be good. Oh and by the way, Happy Birthday" before everything went black.

2 weeks later

"Naruto, Naruto wake up" said a lavender- eyed blue haired girl as she gently shook him. "Come on Naruto, you have to get up you can't just lay there all day." She was about to tap him when he suddenly bolted from the bed and leaned against the wall like a cornered animal. In a was he is like a cornered animal. He was so frighten it was like someone saw their death. It always saddened the lavender- eyed girl when she saw him like this. She knew he didn't recognize her when he was like this. She had to calm him down first. "Naruto, shhh it's okay. It's me your friend Hinata. I won't hurt you." She watched as his eyes turned back to there sky blue color and he calmed down.

"Hinata-chan? Is that you?" She nods. "Naruto was so scared. Please don't leave Naruto." He said as he lounged at her and cried on her. Yes after the incident, Naruto speaks in third person.

"It's alright Naruto-kun. I'm right here." She says as she gently strokes his hair. After a few moments, he calms down.

"Hinata-chan? What did you need Naruto for"? Asked Naruto as he stopped crying.

"Well, Kyuubi-chan ask me to ask if you wanted some breakfast?" she said.

"Yeah! Naruto want ramen! Ramen! Ramen! Ramen! Yeah!" cheered Naruto as he bounced on his bed. Hinata giggled at his antics. "Hinata-chan, where's Gaara? Naruto wants to eat with Gaara!"

Suddenly Hinata got very quiet and she sniffled a bit.

"Hinata? What's wrong? You can sit with Naruto and Gaara too!"

"Naruto-kun...that's not it..."

"What is it?"

"Don't you remeber...Gaara...he's...he's...dead..."
