XxXxX Her ending XxXxX
Who was she to go to? No one cared about her anymore. They all had moved on with their lives and had left her behind to be forgotten. Sango and Miroku had married and had their first child. Sango had birthed a beautiful baby boy. Kagome knew it wasn't intentional that the happily married couple hadn't meant to forget her but over the course of time it had just happened.
Inuyasha had kept his promise to Kikyo and gone to hell with her. He forgot the promise he had made to her. That he would live and stay with her. Koga had mated Ayame and united the packs. Shippou was off at Kitsune School, to help him learn his heritage.
The well had long been destroyed in the final battle with the spider hanyou. Her own time was lost to her and she would never see her family again. Her heart cried for all that she had lost. Kagome was so emotionally and physically drained she just wanted it to all end. She wanted to find peace in death and be free from the hell that was now her life.
Kagome walked to the clearing that would be her resting place. She had waited until winter to do this. She made sure everything was normal and right so her friends would lead happy and full lives. Kagome laid down on the fresh snow covered grass. She could feel the frost biting into her skin and welcomed its embrace. She was so cold and started to shiver. Looking up at the stars that shined so brightly she said her final goodbyes.
"I'm sorry I wasn't stronger, I'm sorry that I was weak and I can't go on."- She whispered into the night sky. Knowing no one was listening to her she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Little did she know that a pair of golden eyes watched from the edge of the woods. He wouldn't let her die. She was too important to him. Even though he wouldn't admit it aloud he knew he was curious about her and wanted her to live. So as soon as he knew she was asleep he moved forward and gentle pick her up bridal style and flew off to the western castle.
