Beginning of Kira Case, 2003, Whammy's House, England
Growing up with albinism is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. Not only that, but I belong to a place called Whammy's House. It's an orphanage for gifted kids. The worst part? We aren't allowed to be adopted. I have been living here since I was 4 years old. Now, I'm about 12 and have no friends. I've seen kids come and go, several ran away and a few committed suicide. The pressure of having to success someone- especially the world's greatest detective L- gets to you. Right now I hold the top spot and will be successing L if he happens to die. He just began a case that I know will take him several years to solve. It's like the Los Angeles BB Case all over again. This criminal goes by the name of Kira which originates for killer in Japan. He is located in the Kantou region of Japan and can somehow kill someone using his mind by simply knowing the name and face of his victim. He kills with heart attacks and only kills those who commit crimes or stand in his way. Well, Rodger is calling us downstairs to have a "chat with L". Good bye.
