Harry had been cleaning out the attic for Aunt Petunia. When he stumbled upon a very large trunk. It was wooden and carved with trees, plants, animals, and his mother's initials on top. Harry knelt down and touched the lid. Immediately, there was a clicking sound, and the lid lifted a little. Harry lifted the lid and looked inside, and saw a letter on top of everything. He picked it up, and read it.
And it said, "my dearest grandson, we have never, nor will we ever meet, but I love you non the less there are worlds hidden within our world, and you belong to both of those worlds. You see your father was a wizard, and in our family we are witches. For some reason the magic skipped your mother, and now you have the gift.
Now in this trunk, are the materials that you will need to practice witchcraft, and with it the greatest secret our family has ever held. Dragons, and the time that history foregot. So touch the egg and take your place as a Dragon Rider, use your gifts to save the world, and become the king I know you to be.

P.S. your aunt petunia is a late bloomer and now has her magic, Dudley also is a witch.
Harry put down the letter and picked up the egg. Emedietly there was a sqeek, and then the egg started rock back and forth, while cracks started to form, and pieses started to fall off the shell. Then with a resounding CRACK the egg shattered and there his dragon lay.
