Thomas Jefferson awoke with a start. His hazel orbs flashed open, and he sighed. He was still in DC, far from his wife and close to that insufferable Hamilton. He remembered his dream, which was about arguing with Alexander. That wasn't too out of the ordinary. It was what they had been arguing about that was so strange. It had been about their love life, or rather lack of romance in it.

This was why the brunet had awoken. It was strange that he, a devout Christian, would have such a thought. He sighed. If he ever HAD to be with a man, it wouldn't be that pesky federalist. He was much more sensible than that. No, if he had to e with a man, he would be with George. George had a certain air about him that made him so attractive. He had a crooked smile, and he rolled up his sleeves in the summer heat.

Thomas blushed a bright red. These were not Christian thoughts. Besides, George had a wife. Thomas would never admit his attraction to George. Secretly, he envied Martha. He checked his clock and rolled out of bed. He got himself dressed, slowly. He dragged himself out of his dwelling and towards the capital. He stared at the cobblestone path, and bumped into someone.

"Hey, watc-" The figure stopped. When Thomas looked up, he saw Alexander Hamilton blushing bright red. "Fancy seeing you here, eh?" They walked to the capitol together.

"It's strange that George- I mean, President Washington is late," Thomas stated as they entered the conference room. It was one of the things that Thomas admired about his superior. "Maybe I should knock on his door." Thomas proceeded to knock, and when he heard a cry, he stopped. 'Oh no! What if he's hurt? What will I do?' Thomas didn't wait any longer, and kicked open the door. Inside was a shocked Washington and J. Adams, the latter on the table of the office mostly nude.

George calmly said, "Thomas, please close the door." Jefferson opened his mouth but no sound came out. He shut the door, weakly. Alexander Hamilton stifled a laugh.

"It looks like old George has a left handed wife. Or I guess husband." He laughed and looked at Thomas. "What's wrong? You wish you were-" Upon seeing Thomas' pained look, he stopped. "This is unbelievable. You have it bad for George as well? Mr. Jefferson, I took you for a good Christian man! And here at only 8 o'clock in the morning, I find out that you-Jesus Christ, I never thought I'd live to see the day."

"Leave me be." Tears welled in Jefferson's eyes. 'Why here? I made a huge mistake. But what did I do wrong. Why John?' Hamilton's expression softened.

"No, no, it's quite alright. Let's go in the conference room." The two men walked and sat at an oval shaped table. "I had a friend pick my wife out. Most of my kids? Not even mine." They sat in silence for a while. Washington broke into the room, shabbily dressed with his wig askew.

"We'll meet tomorrow. Day off today." He ran awkwardly out of the room and the remaining men stared at each other.

"Want to go to my house for tea?" asked Jefferson, shakily.

"It's a date. In a platonic way. I have to return my papers and change. Then I'll be right over." He smiled, and walked out the door.
