Hi, Sakku here :3 This is my first fanfiction ever (wrote it a few months ago) so please tell me what you think. ^_^
I promise I'll write something longer and (hopefully) better in the future. xD This was more like a "test" because I had never written any fanfics before. xD
Also, please forgive me if there are any grammatical errors, English isn't my first language. xD
Well, without further ado, here it is. ^^

The prison cell was entirely filled up with darkness, the walls and floor damp and dirty, the faint smell of blood lingering in the air. Ace's arms were tightly cuffed behind his back, the Sea Stone causing him to feel weak and slightly dizzy. How long had he been there? He had dropped his counting of hours five naps ago. This cell would be his final bed before his execution, the day that was constantly drawing closer on him. Now he thought he could even feel Death itself poking on his shoulder and feel its breath on his neck. The same fate that took his father all those years ago would be claiming him soon too. He never knew his father's voice or even his face but it was almost like he could imagine him laughing at how ironic this situation had become.
"That damned old man... you're waiting for me, aren't you? Want your son to follow in your footsteps, huh? I've got a demon's blood flowing in my veins after all..."
Ace noticed a movement in the shadows on his left side, realizing Jinbei had awoken from his light sleep. He heard a low mumble he couldn't decipher and thought the merman had only shifted position, until his words came,
"But you heard that woman. Your brother's coming here for you, the famous Strawhat whom defeated Crocodile and declared war against the World. He's very much like his father, willing to risk anything to achieve what he's after. And he's willing to risk his life just to save you. He successfully broke into the World's largest and most feared prison."
Ace clenched his fists hard and gritted his teeth in frustration.
"No, he shouldn't be here... Wherever he goes he can never stay out of trouble. I've had to save him so many times... That stupid, little clumsy idiot... Always making his big brother worried..."
Jinbei was now silent, not knowing what more to tell the anxious boy before him.
Yeah, after all, he was still just a boy in Jinbei's eyes. Too young to be carriyng such a heavy rock on his back, slowly walking towards his demise.
"Luffy..." Ace whispered after a few minutes of silence.
Jinbei could almost feel all the pain and anxiety in his voice.
'He really loves his brother', the merman thought.
Ace had to fight back his tears that were once again threatening to fall.
...
"Don't come here..."
Two floors above them, Luffy was currently running through the Inferno Hell on Level 4. The flames burning violently under him made the stone floor scorching hot and almost too hard to endure.
'Wait for me Ace, I'll be there soon... Just hang in there. I wanna tell you all about my journey since we last met! It's been a long time, hasn't it? Ace... I've missed you. I've missed you a lot. So much has happened... So make sure you'll wait for me, okay?'
Luffy ran on steady legs with a determination far more blazing than any flame on the entire floor. With the help of an old friend and two unexpected comrades, he was sure he could save his brother. He really felt he could. They had already made it all the way down to the Inferno!
...
'Let me be the one to save you this time, Ace.'
