That had been so cool.

Jimmy Olsen, you're a genius.

He always knew there something special about Clark; he dubbed him "Big Blue Boy Scout" -not in public of course, but...

He always did the right thing, that's why in some point he was so sure Clark was the hero of Metropolis.

And he had been right.

So right!

He was speeding the whole way. He needed to be in the geo-plant soon, CK trusted him and he wasn't going to let him down. But he still couldn't believe it, Clark Kent was the Red Blue Blur! What were the chances?!

Ok, take it easy Olsen, this shouldn't change how you see Clark. He's still the same CK.

With friggin awesome powers!

He shrugged. He was going to need some time to get used to this. Since that time he saw the Good Samaritan in Metropolis, with his red cape and blue costume, he knew there was a super guy out there, a real hero.

It wasn't like he didn't apreciate the Green Arrow, but Clark was something else. Someone like CK was what the world needed right now, a semi-god that inspires mankind and shows them to be good, to show them that good people still exist out there.

Jesus, he was having a fanboy moment.

He was close; in 5 minutes he would see Chloe...and Davis.

He decided to trust Clark and help him. He would always trust the Red Blue Blur...who happens to be Clark Kent. No one would ever understand how he feet at the moment. He looked up to the Blur. It was a real life Warrior Angel and to learn that it had been Clark all along...it was so awesome that words couldn't begin to explain it. He wasn't mad about him keeping his identity a secret.

After all, every super hero needs a secret identity.

Jimmy wondered why Clark didn't wear a mask...or a costume he thought. It looked like he used that blue t-shirt and red jacket as his uniform, which couldn't be good if he would ever need to make a public appearance of some sort.

And thinking about it, he needed a better name. Oh boy, how much it would be to help Clark pick up a bad ** super hero name?

The Flash? He did looked like he could run very fast...but he knew that wasn't all. For a moment he considered "The Big Blue Boy Scout" like he always named him, but that name wasn't very heroic.

He smiled and laughed at the inside, thinking how fun it would be to mess a little with him in the job. He would visit some day when Lois is at her desk. He could already see the conversation in his mind...

"Hey Red-Blue Blur, how's it hanging?" He would say, and at the terrified look in Clark's eyes, and one of wonder in Lois's, he would smile and pat him in the back.

That would be mean but incredibly fun. He, Jimmy Olsen, was a superhero's pal.

Jimmy Olsen, the superman's pal.

Superman.

Superman...

That was it!

For a second, he thought about writting the name down and later talking CK about the new name and a costume, but he was already at the plant, and there was no time to lose.

He entered the place happy. He was living in a world of heroes and villains, and he, Jimmy Olsen, was the pal of the greatest one.

Get ready world, from now on you will know me as "Superman's pal, Jimmy Olsen"

Author's Note: I hated the retcon in "Doomsday" and I wanted to do a little piece to honor Jimmy's memory (In my mind, he will always be the iconic one, great job Aaron).

Thanks to magicmumu and Hollywood Recycle Bin for being greats betas.
