My first Gajevy story hope you all like it. I do not own Fairy Tail or it's characters.
Levy Mcgarden walked the streets of Magnolia, she wanted to get to the store before Gajeel got home from the guild. She wanted to try and make a sort of fancy chicken dish. The recipe called for red wine, so sh headed to the local liquor store. When she arrived at the store, she was instantly stopped from walking in by a man, one of the store's employees. "Sorry little miss, aduts only no teens." Levy looked at him shocked, " I'm 22 years old! I am an adult, not a child!" The man looked at her and asked, "If you are, I need an ID to confirm." Levy just turned around and walked away. 'People really see me as a child? Why do I have to be so small!?' She thought with a sob escaping her. She ran through the crowd towards her apartment she shared with her mate, the Iron Dragonslayer Gajeel Redfox. She unlocked the door and threw it open, she ran straight to their bedroom and let out her sadness.
{At the Fairy Tail Guild}
Gajeel Redfox had just returned from his 4 day mission, it was simple get rid of a group of bandits terrorizing a town. He sat at the bar drinking a mug of ale. Suddenly he feels sadness and anger go through his mating bond. He stood up quickly and rushed through the guild doors, and headed straight to the apartment. When he opened the door he could hear sobs and crying coming from his and Levy's room. When he opened the door he fund his mate in the middle of their bed crying, her hair was out of its headband and head in between her knees. He rushed to her side and grabbed her head between his large hands, looking into her hazel doe eyes, filled with tears. "What happened Levy!? Who made you cry?" She looked at him, still crying, but it had calmed down a little. " Why am I so small?" she replied in a whisper.
{Levy's POV}
Levy leapt forward and hugged her mate and cried. "I just needed some wine and I was called a kid, I even told them I was an adult, but they didn't believe me!" she was so upset. She felt better in his arms, he looked at her and said calmly " Don't listen to them you are an adult and my mate that is all that matter. I love you." She pulled his face towards hers and she kissed him deeply. " I love you too. I'm glad you back." She really was, she hugged him and wiped her tears away looking at him and smiled. " Thanks Gajeel." " No problem Shrimp. Now what else should we make for dinner, i'm starving!"
