A/N: So here is the full summary and the first chapter of one the stories I have been working on. Enjoy. Updates will be erratic, considering school and life. Please review to let me know what you think.
Lucy was part of a guild when she was a child. It was started with her and a few of her friends. They started it the summer before her mom died. When her mom died, she ran away from the Konzern, for the first time. Two years later, the guild disbanded. No one remembers what happened to cause the disbandment. All the guild makes just suddenly disappeared and no one remembers who the guild master was or the top four mages were, just the names Heart, Diamond, Spade/Club, Clover and Star. Most people think that the House of Cards was just a myth.
Little did anyone know that the guild marks never disappeared, instead they were hidden by a rune. The guild mark would only appear when it was time to take down Zeref and Acnologia.
Chapter One
It was a typical day at the guild. Natsu and Gray where fighting, which turned into a guild wide brawl. I was trying my best to stay out of it. Thankfully the best place to be was at Gajeel's table, for it was out of the main path of the brawl. Plus, Levy had placed runes around the table so stray attacks could get past when she was reading.
Levy and I were in a heated discussion about a book we were both reading, I felt a tingling sensation on my right wrist, on the inside. When I looked down at it, I was almost tempted to start cursing. Instead I told Levy that I had to go see Master about something that I forgot on my last mission.
I went up to the second floor and knocked on the master's door. "What can I do for you child?" Master Makarov asked as I entered his office.
"Master, are there runes set up so no one can hear what is said in the office?" I asked as I shut the door firmly behind myself. "Because what I need to tell you, no one can know of yet."
The master looked at me worriedly, before answering. "Of course, child. Freed just checked them yesterday to make sure that they still function properly."
I breathed a sigh of relief as I sat down in front of his desk.
"Master…"
I started to say before there was a knock at the door.
"I wonder who that could be?" Master asked himself before he yelled "ENTER!"
"Master, forgive us, but it appears that there is a delicate situation that we need to discuss with you." Freed stated as he walked in, with Gajeel following close behind him. They both stopped when they saw me already in front of the Master.
"Hey guys, no worries I am here for the same reason." As I said that I raised my right hand, so they could see the inside of my right wrist. The both nodded at me and sat down on either side of me.
The master looked between the three of us and raised one eyebrow at us. Waiting for one of us to start explaining what was going on.
I sighed, "Master, have you ever heard of a guild called 'House of Cards'?"
