As soon as Alex came through the door, Walker knew she was there. Somehow he could always sense when she was near. He looked up and saw her eyes on him as she walked over to another rangers desk to dicuss a drug bust that happened when her and Walker were on vacation.

When Alex walked through the door, the first person she looked for was Walker, even though she hadnt come to see him specifically. The whole time she was discussing the case, she could feel Walker's eyes on her, and it took everything she had to keep her eyes off of him.

The next time they saw each other was that afternoon in the elevator. They were the only ones in there at the time and the only thing that was said between them came from Walker, when he leaned forward and whispered in her ear "I want you.". Snuggled up the next morning before having to get up, Walker pushed a strand of hair from her face and gently kissed her lips.

"And I love you, Walker. You are the love of my life.", was Alex's reply

With that they came together once more to prove their love for each other, knowing that no matter what happened each one had the other to lean on.
