This is a joint story: By Megan and Nicole
The police were gathered around the house. The caution tape was everywhere. The 16 year old town sweetheart was missing.
He pulled up to the house, his heart began pounding. Why were the police here? Was she okay? Did somebody hurt her?
He stepped out of the car, he could feel the blood pressure leaving his cheeks, turning them streak white. His hands were trembling and a cold sweat began to take over his body. What was going on? His eyes were darting everywhere. Police. Neighbors. Friends. Family. Ambulance. Who to talk to first? Where to go? Where was she? He began to frantically ask everyone in sight where she was. Not a single person would give him an answer. Instead, they all looked at him with sympathy and said "it's going to be okay, they're going to find her." Find her? Where was she? He just saw her 2 hours ago? He didn't understand.
The sweat beads were now racing down his forehead. What was going on? Why was she not there? His hands were not uncontrollably shaking. His breath was becoming ragged. He tried to calm himself down. He tried to convince himself this was all a dream and he was going to wake up any second to her beautiful face. He slammed his eyes shut and took a deep breath. When he opened his eyes ten seconds later, to his dismay, everything was the same. People were still wandering with panic striken faces. He was so confused. She had to be okay. But, no matter how hard he tried to convince himself, he knew otherwise. He had that feeling in the pit of his stomach. You know the one, the one where it an uncomfortable feeling, a guilty feeling. Yeah, that one. He had it. It scared him. He didn't know what to do.
Suddenly, a police officer came up to him. "Are you Ezra?" he asked.
"Y-y-yes."
"Well, I need you to come with me. We need to ask you a few questions."
Doesn't come down when she calls, "It's time for breakfast".
Momma can't get down those halls fast enough to see,
Glass is sprayed across the floor, from the broken window.
She can't breathe anymore, can't deny what we now.
A/N this is from not only me, but my friend Nicole! WE DON'T OWN AYTHING! Anyways, we just decided to write something and somehow ended with this. Please let us know what you think!
