Ok, so this for Limegreen0421's love poem contest. HAMEAD! This is my first shot at poetry, so I hope it turned out ok.

Adrenaline Rush
She tries to hide back the tears as she thinks about an event back a few years,
She wonders if he even cares about the impact he left there,
How it proved and confirmed her worst and most mortifying fears,
That he showed he didn't and probably would never care.
But she had always felt the complete opposite about him,
Even thought she would never tell another soul,
She wished he would spend less time in the gym,
And more with her to play her dream role.
She tried to act like she hates him with all of her heart,
Just because she didn't know how to act in front of her first crush,
And she had always wanted him to take her away on a horse drawn cart,
Because he always made her adrenaline start to rush.
But how could he ever love someone like her,
Someone who he thought had a heart of steel and was dark,
If only he knew he was the one who turned her into a baffler,
The one who kept her hope of loving someone a spark.
Maybe he just didn't care that she loved him,
Maybe he didn't care he was her first crush,
Maybe she meant less to him then the gym,
Maybe he didn't care that he made her adrenaline rush.
