This damn power as caused me so much, taking away the touch from a lover, any touching at all, but thanks to this unbeating heart of his I've found someone I can kill over and over again and never lose him.

And because of this I get to have so much of the thing I've been missing, it does not keep Logan from trying and getting hurt along the way ('I can handle the pain, kiddo.'), from the first caress (and not dying from it) it was love at first bite.
