A/N I wrote this a while back and I was flicking through my fics tonight looking for the link to it and I couldn't find then realised I'd forgotten to publish it so sorry!
"Gerry a wedding day is the most important day to a woman." Steve told him as they sat in the pub.
"I know Steve, I messed the day up for three different women."
"Well what are you planning on doing this time? You can't ruin this for her, in fact what makes you think she wants to get married."
"I don't know but it feels right, this time I'm doing everything according to what she likes and I'm going to be there on time."
"So what's done and what's not?"
"I've booked the registry office, then that country manor for the reception. I've asked Esther to pick a dress along with Emily and Paula, catering is sorted and the girls are doing flowers too. I've just got the cake and suits to sort."
"Any plans?"
"Not as of yet but I'm off to the cake shop once I've finished this pint."
"Hello, I have an appointment with Rosie." Gerry said as him and Steve walked into a small cake shop just outside of town.
"Ah Mr Standing is it?" Rosie replied.
"Yeah and this is my friend Steve."
"Come through guys." Rosie said as the two men followed her through to the back room. "So did you have anything in mind?"
"I was thinking a couple of tiers, I was thinking Victoria sponge on the bottom and chocolate on the top tier. I don't want that his and hers model on the top and I think she'd like flower decorations."
"So how about small flowers trailing across the bottom layers leading to bigger flowers."
"Erm yeah but don't have too much on it, I want it classy."
"Right well when's your big day?" Rosie asked as she took notes.
"A month."
"Right well leave it to me and I'll draw a picture and call you in when it's done to see if you approve."
"Can you call my mobile as my partner doesn't know about all of this."
"Sure."
