Hair of the Dog

"Hair of the dog, Sammy."

Sam could hear the grin in his big brother's voice as he choked down Dean's hangover cure concoction. As Sam righted his head again, he gulped loudly and belched. Dean nodded encouragingly.

"Gross, Dean."

Dean raised his eyebrows, questioning. Sam glowered, thinking to himself, where the hell did someone come up with "hair of the dog"? Sam didn't know if it was that one phrase or the constant string of useless euphemisms Dean seemed to constantly spew.

Dean shrugged, seeming to read Sam's mind.

"That's what you get for partying like a rock star, Sammy."
