As I Lay Dying:
Skye felt it before she registered hearing the gun fire. Her stomach was on fire. Her face turned to shock as she looked down to see her shirt turning red, before up at Mr. Quinn who was slowly advancing on her. Her hand went to her stomach. She could feel her shirt, already soaked with blood. All she could do was look up at Ian Quinn, who had at one point offered her a job. She felt like a rag doll as Quinn pulled her to him.
"Shh Shhh" he said almost as if he were comforting her. Skye's face scrunched with a mixture of pain, sadness and confusion as she just leaned up against him as her gunshot wound seeped onto her clothes. Then he fired again and her whole body jerked. Skye gasped in pain as he lowered her down to the floor.
"I'm sorry. I have my orders too" Quinn said before leaving the room.
Skye gasped leaning up slightly to see how bad it was.
"Help" she gasped. She saw the door and slowly dragged her way towards it. Gasping in pain every time she moved an inch. She had to believe her team was coming for her. Fitz had activated the tracker so it wouldn't be long now she thought. Groaning she finally reached the door. Leaning up against the wall she leaned up turning the knob, opening the door slightly.
"Help…help" she gasped. Before her hand dropped to the floor. She was too weak. Too weak to move. She sat their waiting for her team.
Skye gasped in pain as she thought about the teams reactions to seeing her. She just hoped she could fight long enough for them to find her.
Skye didn't expect to make friends when she first joined up. But Simmons had turn into a sister to her, just as Fitz a brother. May was the very stoic angry mom in a way. But Skye knew that eventually, she would get May to like her. She didn't really know how to classify Ward, he was in some ways like a protective brother. But she knew it was weird to think of him like that too. He was her SO, and she knew the guilt he'd be feeling if she died. So she fought on. Skye knew she was losing consciousness though. She had lost too much blood. Her final thoughts were on her AC. Coulson, who was like a father figure to her. Who even after she had betrayed them given her another chance. AC and her had bonded more than her and anyone else on the team. He was the father that she would never had, and now all she wished was that she could tell each of them how much they meant to her.
Skye's eyes started fluttering. I'm sorry she thought beforedarkness overcame her.
