Chapter 1
A man is running through the rain of a large city, he runs down a back alley to a door. He opens it and locks it behind him. Inside there is nothing but a shaft and a com Link beside it. He presses the button on the com. It's me, send up the elevator" said the mysterious man. "Doctor, we've been waiting for your return," said a voice from the other side of the com. An elevator rose and the doctor stepped in. when the elevator got to the bottom floor, he stepped out. A robot stood in front of him. "Doctor did you get the necessary parts?" the robot asked. "Yes, my dream to make the ultimate androids is within my grasp! They will be so powerful that they will be able to destroy the legendary X and Zero!" the doctor laughed wildly. He ran over to two pods, he went to the backs of them and inserted glowing green crystals. The pods started to glow, they opened and two men covered in armor withdrew from them. "Hello doctor" said one "Good to see you" said the other. "YES! YES! My clones of the legendary X and Zero are alive!" the doctor said laughing horrendously.
Crash! Bang! Bang! "Stop you robots!" said a police officer. "We will never stop!" yelled one robot as he continued fire. "Chief we need X!" the officer over a walkie-talkie. "Roger" said the chief. He pressed a button on the inter com on his desk. "Mobilize X" he said.
The rapid fire continued, people ran screaming in all directions. "Chief, where's X!" asked the officer. Vroom!!! A plane flew overhead. A person jumped out of it. The man landed safely on the ground and ran into the midst of the gunfire. "Why is that man in there?" said one. "That's no ordinary man, that Megaman X!" said another. X ran in and shot two with his blaster. "Two down" he said. Then he shot one more. The lat one had a blaster and two swords on his back. He shot it, it shot a blast of it's own to cancel out X's. The robot took the swords from his back. X shot again, the robot easily dodged it. The robot ran toward him with extraordinary speed, he went to slash him but X move behind him and blasted him. The robot flinched, smoked and fell to the ground. "Well that was fun" X said with a sigh of relief. "Would like some more," said a voice similar to his own. He spun around. There were two people, one looked like X, the other like his friend Zero. "I sure would" said the imposter Zero. "Sure, I could use a little more exercise" X said uncertainly. The imposters ran toward him with amazing speed. The one that looked like Zero fired up his sword. He slashed at X and grazed his cheek. X put his hand to his cheek. "So you play ruff" he said charging his blaster. The imposter X ran at the real X, but X quickly moved behind him and when he went to blast him he back flipped behind X and the blast went flying at the imposter Zero, but he hit it with his sword and it went flying at X. It hit with great force knocking him to the ground. "Nice try" the imposter X laughed. X jumped to his feet charged a blast and ran at the imposter Zero and elbowed him in the face. Then turned and shot at the other X just as he was going to punch him. He went flying into a building. "I think we got a problem" X panted.
