Sesshomaru Knew something was wrong the moment she walked into their home

Now...Sesshomaru after many long years of battle and bloodshed settled down and won the affections of the miko Kagome. He knew his kagome very well and vice versa she knew him all too well. So imagine his surpise when kagome walks in smelling funny but acting completly normal.

Now kagome the time travelling miko knew she could hide nothing from her powerful mate so just pretended "Evening mate" "Hn good evening Kagome" "What do you want for dinner?" "Twice cooked pork sounds nice" "Wonderful I've had a craving for that for quite a while now" "So i've been told..." seeing her mate stand up to help she immediatelystopped "Ne mate don't you have a lot of work to do" 'Please say yesand walk away' she thought to herself her mental barrier preventing said dai from peaking into her thoughts.

'Now I know somethings up' his mate never had mind barriers up when she came home it helped in case she was in trouble or had injured herself "Mate..." she froze up instantly but darted into the bathroom before he could get her 'Dammit' hearing her sniffle slightly in the bathrrom really had his suspiscions rising to the fullest.

When Kagome came out she was instantly trapped between two muscular arms and a wall "Tell me what's wrong" "No" his eye slightly twitched in irritation "Kagome..." "Sesshomaru..."

"Enough Mate! You will tell me what's wrong before I call Inuyasha" she shivered in fear if anyone could make her mouth slip from anger it was inuyasha. "..." "I cannot hear you mate" "I..." "Well?" "I'm...ill" "Your ill?" "Yes I have a cold Okay!" she slipped from underneath him and released her mind barrier.

Sesshomaru was assaulted by the unstable state her sick mind was in "Let me help you it is after a mates duty and I wish not to see you Ill I wnat pups after all" a giggle was heard from underneath "Who said I was ready for the pain yet?" "I did" he tackled her and tickled her until she screamed for mercy.

"Do not feel ashamed" she froze at his hurt expression "I was deeply wounded when you his yourself from me" he nuzzled her neck gently before rising up "I'm sorry mate" "It matters not, now I shall see if we still have some medicine" she scowled "I'm not taking that foul tasting stuff" "If you do not willingly then I shall call inuyasha to help me force you to drink it" "..." good now don't try and leave because you know I shall hear you the second you leave the bed" he heard her sigh in agreement.

Kagome could smell it from here 'Why did he pick lemon I hate that flavour!' "It is revenge for hiding from me My mate" she huffed angrily and sat up as he brought the sour smelling yellow liquid twoards her.

She grabbed it and downed it in one. Amusement filled him when his mate pulled a sour face but her face grew more so when he pulled out soem cough medicine "Drink" he ordered holding a tablespoon of the liquid, giving her one more when she had downed the first one "Good mate" he brought out a hot water bottle much to her delight and slid it under the pillows putting a damp cloth ontop of her forehead.

lying down next to her he wrapped his arms around her full hipsand fell into slumber just as she did. Kagomes Last thought before falling to sleep was 'Myabe being sick isn't so bad after all' 'Do not make it a habbit Mate' was a vague growl before darkness succumbed her.

And there it is A new short story I'm sorry for not updating other ones for a while but I just started college! Amazing isn't it. Well tell a lie I've tomorrow as an inductio day as well as today then next monday I start college so I'll try to update at leats one of my stories but I need inspiration give me some ideas in your reviews! I'll seriously consider them i'm getting quiet desperate so Please help !
