(Author's Note: I do not own Harry Potter or the Beatles. I really wish I did but…)

(Another Note: Songs will be used regardless of when they were released, e.g. songs that were written by just Lennon, or just McCartney after the band split up)

The Beatles Go to Hogwarts

Chapter I

Harry Potter was sitting at Gryffindor table waiting for Professor McGonagall to pass out the sign-up sheet for elective classes. When he got the sheet, one particular elective startled him: Music class. Why would they need music class? What exactly was going on? Did Harry suddenly find himself in a parallel dimension where Hogwarts as a muggle school? Intrigued, Harry immediately signed up for it, as did Ron and Hermione. Just then, Dumbledore stood up to give his beginning-of-the-year speech.

"Welcome first-years. Everyone else, welcome back for what is sure to be yet another exciting year at Hogwarts. Now, I must introduce not one, but four new teachers. Please give a warm welcome to Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and John Lennon, who will all be teaching music this year. They are quite famous among muggles, but they once graduated from Hogwarts and are therefore qualified to teach you the little known magical intricacies of music. But let's save that for the first lesson then, shall we? Quidditch tryouts will be held next week..."

"Oh my God, it's the Beatles!!" shrieked Hermione.

"Ow, my ears, bloody hell Hermione, I'm sitting right next to you. Hey Harry, who are the Beatles?" asked Ron.

"Beats me, the Dursleys weren't really into music, the most I've ever heard are really bad rap songs blasting out of Dudley's room" replied Harry.

"The-Beatles-are-only-the-best-thing-to-ever-happen-to-music-since-old-German-composers-in-the-1800s-they-are-the-most-amazingly-awesome-band-ever!!!" said Hermione all in one breath, so fast that she almost passed out from lack of oxygen.

"Breathe, Hermione, breathe" said Ron, "I know you like them, you did sign up for the class, right?"

"Of course I did. I do hope I do well this year; music isn't the kind of thing you can learn from a book. But the Beatles, teaching me…"

"Herm, you look like you're about to pass out. Maybe it's time we turned in for the night, it's music first class on Monday."
