Prologue
Long time ago in Edo Japan, there was once a famous daimyo blessed with an only son. Times were ending and hardships were faced by the people of Japan as it was the final years of the military government. There were many powerful daimyos in Edo Japan, hundreds perhaps or many thousands in different provinces which even historians themselves could not remember and record everything.
Imagawa Toshiro was a powerful daimyo who was well known and respected by his family, his colleagues and the people of Edo. He had married one of the most beautiful woman in all of Edo whose luscious black hair was rumoured to fall down to her knees like a beautiful cascade of a black waterfall and her skin so pure, soft and flawless it had put even a new born babies' skin to shame. Imagawa Toshiro's marriage to his wife Misaka Nagamasa was not that of a political nature. He had fallen in love with her as soon as he had seen her and after months of courting her, she finally agreed to marry him. He married young and was thus blessed with a beautiful child at only the age of twenty one when his youth was still at its prime.
Imagawa Toshiro adores both his son and wife immensely indulging them with things only the finest lifestyle could afford. One could say that the child born into such a household was immensely blessed; not only for the parents but for the child as well. And the child believed these words as well as he would count his blessings every night before going to bed in his prayers like his mother had always taught him.
Ever since Hijikata Toshiro was but a small baby, everyone had adored the child with his sweet manners, numerous talents which ranges from a skilled wielder of the katana, to an amazing archer, a very talented craftsman and finally his good looks inherited from his mother. As a young boy, Hijikata loved to play all sorts of games but the game which he holds very dear to his heart is that which involves a certain dollhouse gifted by a certain samurai on his fifth birthday. Hijikata had not known then who the samurai was but one thing he was very certain about was that he loved the dollhouse ever since he had laid eyes upon it.
This is just a short prologue to the rest of the story. i hope you all like it so far.
