"We did it, Tris!" Tobias exclaimed, hugging her. He was stable despite the shaking of the train. "What did I do?" Tris asks, pulling away with venom in every syllable, "Killed my best friend's boyfriend and was almost killed by my own? I wouldn't celebrate about that." "I meant overthrowing Erudite! You know I wouldn't even want to think about that stuff!" Tobias replied. "And can we please not talk about how I almost killed you? I hate knowing it, and talking about it makes it worse."

"Where are we going, Tobias?"

"I think we should go beyond the fence, leave this city far behind us, and start a new life." He replied, pulling her towards him.

"What about my family, and yours? I can't leave them here!" She asked, shuddering at the thought.

"We can take them with us. Your father, brother and my mother if she survived the massacre, they should all come." He replied, holding her tighter.

"I just worry that we won't be able to get the others before it's too late." She murmured.

"We'll find them. I promise."
